I don’t know what translation those quotes are from. Someone gave me the quotes.
However, if you want to see other translations you can go to quran.com and they have the option to click several translations and compare them side by side.
I typed up the Sahih International translation and it is as follows:
2:191
And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
9:123
O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous.

Well I think Jon pretty much summed up the concern also. Israel is a WW-III senerio. We would rather “not” see it. What kids think I don’t know. What adults think I do know.
However Palestine is a probem. Israel wanted to give them their own counrty, they don’t want it, they want to live in Israel? Its a problem. Israel don’t want you their:shrug: Their a Nuclear power all their own:shrug: We don’t control them, nor never will. But we will go help them. I assure you, it will go down that way. No-one with a once of sense would even entertain that but however the middle east is playing with this senerio.

All the posts you have made in this thread deal almost exclusivley with Israel. This is thread is not about Israel. That is all I am saying. Nobody asked about its current situation. This isn’t JUST about Israel. Why are you making it so? I will not respond to any more posts that focuses solely on Israel.My issue with Jews? None. But I do take issue with some of the policies of the government of the country of Israel. But…that is for another thread. Not this one.
About the “hate.” I was simply pointing out the subject of this thread, what was stated in the op.

My perspective.
I didn’t feel any different about Muslims prior to 9/11. I felt like they were just like us.
I pain them with the same brush now because I care about my safety. I know that their mosques recruit and nothing is done about it. Majority of Muslims are not terrorists but they don’t snitch on those who are.
And given that terrorists will put bombs on themselves, or their wives, or even their children, it means I cannot really trust any of them.
But my ex was Muslim and I treat Muslims the way God would want me to treat them.
And I still don’t understand why, with all that happened on 9/11, why more would move here, and make demands to have mosques by 9/11 and be so imposing.
I would feel better if these wars were done with.
If this all makes me a huge bigot, quite frankly, I don’t care. I’m allowed to feel the way I do. Next person who starts talking about some sort of phobia, I’m going to track them down and fill their bed with arachnids.

Well New-Yorkers are pretty much use to anything. Its pretty much all the way live their. They came through everything fine. I have original 35-mm shots of it. A friend was 5-blocks from the Towers when it happened. America is pretty much over that.
I thought having the meeting their last month was in bad form though. Especially when it turned Racist as the last meeting did. I don’t know what Islam thinks will happen, I lose no sleep over them, I don’t have an issue with them their Kufis and Pray Rugs either.
I find people in general have been pretty much the the same whereever I have been, They have the same fears, share the same tears, and die in so many years. Hopefully they follow a spiritual path.

Islam is as much a political ideology as it is a religion. If people understood it that way it would be stopped and fought the way communism has been. I think that is what I dislike the most- they have attached an allah to a political machine that if followed would erase all the good and great things the west has accomplished.
