Let see:
  1. Many, if not most pastors in Spain are former Roman Catholics, baptised in the RC Church
  1. A large number of priests are now pastors.
  1. Since all priests are Roman Catholic, #2 is a subset of #1.
What else does this imply? Can you get it? It is like a Venn diagram, only the smaller circle is floating within the larger circle. Yes, some pastors are #1, former RCs, but not #2
Thanks for asking. I hope this helps.
You can couch your explaination of misinformation and imagination in all the sarcasm and far fetched prose you want.
But I’ll bet you’ll be precise before posting a generalization again! 😛

Having met Scott I can say he isn’t particularly anti-evangelical. I have never seen him misrepresent their faith. But fundamentalists misrepresent and attack Catholicism routinely. For example I have had fundamentalists call the Pope the anti-Christ, but have never heard Scott to that to fundamentalists.

In all of these posts I think Gottle of Geer’s post comes closest to the mark. I think what is sensed as anger often stems from a deep dissappointment.
I can understand that. But what about the case of an adult man in his late 60’s who says he ‘sussed out how the Catholic Church preys on people’s fears of death to exploit it for their sense of control’.

Now if an adult comes up with that, though I would not agree, one would have to accept it as their mature decision but a man to admit that was his opinion when he was only 11-years old and he has not moved on from that position.

Very sad in my view
