Yes, this is an appropriate question to us all to consider, not that you have not already considered this.
The Lord is certainly telling us something. For instance, the Eucharistic Miracles at Lanciano and Cascia were telling His Church something first and foremost. Those outside should listen as well, and consider what this means. To those who have been given much, much will be expected. In Lanciano, the priest had doubts about Christ’s real and true presensce in the Eucharist. God certainly showed him and all of us faithful in a big way. The Eucharist was visibly changed into flesh of a human heart, and blood type AB that is also found at other Eucharistic miracles and on the shroud of Turin.

In the miracle at Cascia, the priest treated the Eucharist with irreverence and carelessly put it in a prayer book to take to someone who was sick. God showed him and all of us faithful by staining the pages of the book where the Eucharist was with living blood.
