There is one other response that I have not seen yet as an answer why there is only one church/faith that is bathed and continually so with these miracles, but excuses and perspective not withstanding, asking one to examine what is in front of them is good for the soul(s).That last one especially is disgusting, like something out of a horror flick - “Stigmata”, perhaps. Its repellent character suggests that it is not genuine, because it is not numinous - just rather nasty.
Exactly the same applies to the Lanciano thing, which is revolting, not numinous. A miracle, if genuine, should not seem like something from a horror film.
Just like the chief priests and scribes in Jesus day, not everyone will believe the healing, the miracles performed by Christ during his ministry, the message he brought. Is today any different?
We all look for the support and rational for our beliefs, just like the chief priests and scribes during the ministry of Christ. Yet, Jn 20:29, “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed”.
