Why are promarijuana people so mean?

Hey, what with the general quality of American Fiction the past few decades, that could have been a best seller.

I disagree with you on that. I think it is more the fact that there is a new puritanism taking over – it unites both left and right. I know in my neighborhood, full of left wing urban yuppies, I am (i) probably the only conservative and (ii) the onoly person I know who think some drugs should be legalized (or at least decriminalized).
 
If they could figure out how to put it in a pill maybe it would gain more acceptance for its alleged medicinal values.

I have been called stupid a billion times and whenever someone even gives the slightest hint that he thinks I am stupid I snap. I didn’t say anything for a long time. Finally at the end of the thread I got really really angry and said something I really shouldn’t have. I didn’t really mean it but when your angry like that you say things you don’t mean. Of course, I got banned and the thread still continued to say I was stupid. They said I lost all legitimacy of my argument (not like it was ever legitimate anyway - and I didn’t argue! I simply stated I very much hated marijuana and the reasons why!)

Don’t take it personal, it is not about you. This is how people act when you do or say something that seems to subtract from what they think is essential to their life. It is a form of panic, like putting them in a room and sucking the air out. They depend upon it, and get angry when it seems like it might be taken away.

That too 😦 In any case, putting THC in pill form doesn’t make a whole lot of sense when you can smoke or vaporize it straight off the plant. It’s not like you’re going to die of an overdose, after all. The only real reason for stuff like marinol is to make money.

True enough; but vaporization isn’t, and as Mac6yver noted there’s always the ‘special brownie’ method. A pill isn’t the only safe way to ingest something.
 
If you made a post saying you hate frosted flakes, pop tarts or aquafina water, people are going to flame you.

You shouldn’t turn this into a “righteous shall suffer” thing…
