Glad you enjoyed it! I think it explains the large part that indoctrination plays in the forming of the Muslim mind. Thanks Vickie, that was very interesting.

Exactly. Thanks for the article. Here’s an interesting about the “sacredness” of the Quran. It also explains how Muslims are indoctrinated into believing in it.
The author states:
The Quran miserably fails the test of its claimed sacredness, i.e. it’s the ‘word of God’. And how Muslims take recourse to numerous deceptive and silly explanations and ploys to maintain sacredness of the Quran. Interestingly, an alleged ‘divine book’ needs humans to stretch their efforts to its silly limits to maintain what it claims to be.
Sacred/Sacredness is: Something entitled to reverence and respect; highly valued and important (especially in a religious sense) (Merriam-Webster).
The Quran, the so-called holy or sacred book of Muslims, is manifestly not entitled to reverence or respect. A proper description of the Quran would be something as follows:
‘The Quran is the most irrational, non-linear, convoluted, repetitive, idiotic and vile book ever written in the history of failed literary fiction.’ This book is a written manifestation of the thoughts of a person who suffered delusions of grandeur. He, with the help of others, compiled this hodgepodge of utter stupidity and terror. The Quran is a manual of war. It incites violence, orders killing, war, amputations, and so on and so forth. It is hailed as the word of god and as the greatest masterpiece. Nothing can be farther from truth."
I came across a large number of ‘young modern Muslims’, and none of them had ever read Quran; still they held it in high esteem and regarded it as very sacred (Note: religious indoctrination is a very broad term; here I have used it in a very restricted way.)
Basically it is a very good article and I could quote the whole thing since it has a lot of VERY GOOD points.Questioning one’s own ability: Another factor is that many smart Muslims, who have had the chance of reading a bit of the Quran, get shocked with what they read. Their natural reaction is: ‘Oh, my understanding is not right’, or ‘Ah, I am mistaken, I am unable to comprehend what it truly says’, or other variants of such thought-patterns. Instead of properly questioning and analysing the Quran they start questioning themselves, because of their indoctrination that the Quran is the infallible word of our Creator.
What these Muslims fail to realize is that the burden of Quranic clarity is not on their shoulders, but on Allah’s shoulders, because He stated, time and again, in the Quran that this book is easily understandable.
<>
Anger and frustration: This group of Muslims read the Quran, and they get angry and frustrated. Interestingly, what happens is that, rather than directing their anger and frustration to the Quran, they direct it to those who try to reason with them about its contents. Their attitude can be summarized as: ‘How dare you? Who gave you the right? Don’t be disrespectful!’
I don’t know how anyone can get anything nice out of the Koran. Did you read Booklover’s web link? Did you read the link that I provided to you that even the people on this website must agree to or else it wouldn’t be made available?I’m not going to respond to your points, as I have already said, but can you see how insulting and unhelpful so much of your post is? You continually assert that I do not or have not read the relevant texts. That I will not read for myself. That I will not admit that I am wanting to read a certain thing. If it wasn’t so infuriating to be responded to in this way, I could have left this hopeless cause many pages ago. You have accused me a number of times of outright lying, and I have half a mind to alert a moderator. Please do not think that I have ceased responding to your arguments because I have nothing else to say. But there is nothing that can be said to someone who tells you “you lie, you’ve never read the Koran.”
Yes, I think it’s really good too.Exactly. Thanks for the article.
It tells us in a subtle way why Muslims have to deceive us about it too! Because it IS a mess.
I found this line very interesting and even more so because these are British Muslims who have every opportunity to find out the truth before the ills of Islam take over completely.
Basically it is a very good article and I could quote the whole thing since it has a lot of VERY GOOD points.
I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m not going to respond to anything substantive you argue. Perhaps when you stop calling me a liar, and can debate respectfully, we can resume discussion. But until you retract your many earlier statements, count me out of any conversation in which you are involved.I don’t know how anyone can get anything nice out of the Koran. Did you read Booklover’s web link? Did you read the link that I provided to you that even the people on this website must agree to or else it wouldn’t be made available?
You actually sound like two of the points in booklover’s post: points # 6 and 8 (go read them, they are interesting)
How do you interpret these verses since there is a BIG disconnect going on between what you are reading and what I am reading (and keep in mind these verses I will cut/paste replaced those peaceful surahs).
Surah 3:151: We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.
Surah 8:55: For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are those who disbelieve.
Surah 4:101: The unbelievers are your open enemy.
(in case you don’t know the unbelievers are non-Muslims)
Very interesting!I got an interesting email in my inbox today:
Islam is violent says Obama’s new pastor, Carey Cash.
It sure is a change to the previous pastor that says we are the violent ones.
Thanks. It is a matter of how they define the words they use. If they switch meanings of offensive and defensive then they can get away with anything. Our societys are letting them get away with this instead of calling them to be accountable. They also revise history in this way. And our useful idiots just follow along instead of trying to find out the truth.Yes, I think it’s really good too.
Here’s that proves that Islam was violent from its inception and not as Muslims like Planten keep claiming, that it comes from misunderstanding of its teachings.
*"*Islam was a violent religion from its inception and a religion designed to and which did spread by force of arms.
An early eighth century Muslim Jihadist was documented making statements to a Sasanian King that reveal Islam’s true nature. Keep in mind that this Sasanian King would have been a Zoroastrian and, therefore, subject to the treatment outlined in verse 9:29 of the Qur’an. If critics of Islam are correct in their understanding of real Islam, one would, therefore, expect the early eighth century Jihadist to present his case in line with what appears to be the clear dictate of the Qur’an’s tribute verse (9:29) and that is exactly what history recorded. The Jihadist invited the Sasanian King to embrace Islam and warned him as follows:
“If you refuse, you must pay the tribute (jizya). This is bad thing but not as bad as the alternative; if you refuse to pay, it will be war. If you respond positively and embrace our religion, we will leave you with the Book of God [Qur’an]and teach you its contents. Provided that you govern according to the rules included in it, we shall leave your country and let you deal with its affairs as you please. If you protect yourself against us by paying the tribute, we will accept it from you and guarantee your safety. Otherwise we shall fight you.” (Quoted by Hugh Kennedy, The Great Arab Conquests, p. 51, citing Al-Numan b. al-Muqarrin; Tabari, Ta’rikh, I:2240.)
Note how all of the arguments presented by Islamic apologists fall apart upon review of the foregoing quote. This early Muslim Jihadist spoke classical Arabic so there can be no claim that he misunderstood Islam because he was reading a “translation” of the Qur’an. At that time it is doubtful that many, if any, translations of the Qur’an existed. There can also be no question that verse 9:29 of the Qur’an does not refer to defensive warfare or the rules for ending a defensive war as the Muslim Jihadist makes it clear that war will begin if the conditions are not met and the context makes it clear that he is not addressing a situation wherein the Muslims have been attacked and are trying to settle an existing, defensive war. Besides, the universally accepted historical record is that the early Muslims attacked the Sasanian Empire without provocation. Finally, the Jihadist’s bellicose statements makes it clear that nothing in Islamic doctrine modifies or softens the clear violent mandate of chapter nine of the Qur’an."

Sick is right! Here’s my last one for today, another on the “Muslim mode” as you say.Thanks. It is a matter of how they define the words they use. If they switch meanings of offensive and defensive then they can get away with anything. Our societys are letting them get away with this instead of calling them to be accountable. They also revise history in this way. And our useful idiots just follow along instead of trying to find out the truth.
These two words are not the only words they switch the meanings in order to fool others.
In that article, if you switch your brain into ‘muslim mode’ you will read it differently. You will read it as the unbelievers being offered the choice to be saved and become Muslims, pay the jizya and accept subjugation since they are allowed to keep their pathetic religions if they are people of the book, or the Muslim holy warriors will open up their world to Islam by force because Allah is making them do it, and that means it is a just and holy cause. The arrogance of the unbelievers to think they are superior to Islam and Allah’s holy warriors. And if they have to kill them and let Allah send them to the fires of hell, then their women will be slaves to the holy warriors and new Muslims will come from them. If they fight and die or become martyrs for Allah they are considered the holiest of warriors. Allahs will be done.
Sick huh? Do we all know why infidels are not supposed to read the Koran and other texts of Islam? It seems the internet has been our luck and it is no wonder why they want to have laws enforced to shut us infidels up. I do believe that Obama has been with Congress in order to do that. His administration has helped shut Egyptians up concerning Islam via the UN. And the UN has been shutting people up in Europe too. Too bad they actually think the UN is authorized to do such a thing. The Muslim nations do not obey UN sanctions and resolutions, I don’t know why anyone else should.
But how are we to know how unbelievers interpret the Koran if it isn’t violent to them. How can we know this?I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m not going to respond to anything substantive you argue. Perhaps when you stop calling me a liar, and can debate respectfully, we can resume discussion. But until you retract your many earlier statements, count me out of any conversation in which you are involved.
Yes. The part that gets me is, “Mohammed fought only defensive wars.” This would be true if the Islamic meaning of “defensive” were clear to us. Since the normal state of affairs is for Islam to rule the world, anything short of that is an offense against Islam. IOW, the mere existence of a non-believer is an offense against Islam that must be rectified, by force if necessary. Since the non-believer, by merely existing, has committed the offense, any retaliation by Islamic forces is naturally in “defense”.…It is a matter of how they define the words they use. If they switch meanings of offensive and defensive then they can get away with anything. …
Benadam;5804434:
has information on what they are trying to push onto us.Ok, that is fine, but what I am saying is this concept that they can deal with things in a peaceful, but forceful, way to stop their countries from being Islamicized and instead they chose ignorance over doing anything and then what will happen is that they are paving the way for eventual violence since that is what always happens when Muslims start building up their numbers and get their Sharia laws infiltrated into the laws of the land. If you don’t think that isn’t happening here in the USA, as it is happening in Europe then you are not aware of some of the things they are working towards. This website Stop Sharia Now
And then they talk about martyrdom. We know that for Christians in Islamic lands they are dwindling in numbers due to the persecution. But Christians worldwide are doing nothing except being Islamic apologists and appeasers. And too many Christians are not putting pressure on anyone to help Israel out either. Instead they fall for the propaganda that a well organized propaganda machine in Islam puts out and continually ignore the violence perpetrated by Muslims in Gaza, and also in Lebanon. I am not saying that all Christians are doing this, but too many in positions of power are doing it. I remember reading an article where the Christians were asking for help and I have no idea where the rest of the world’s Christians were. They have no problem marching in to protect the Saudi and Kuwaiti Muslims, but when the real victims of Muslim terror cry out for help there is a silence.
The Saudis, and Kuwaitis, fund the Jihadists and whatever comes back onto them, so be it. I don’t feel sorry for them and they have done nothing to stop the violence coming from the Jihadists and instead have been known not only to have telethons to give them money, but have released the Jihadists and tell them to wage their Jihad off of Saudi soil.
**I just read about way too many Ministers and others such as the Catholic Clergy doing absolutely nothing but giving out bad advice concerning Islam.
**
I don’t get how anyone can think Islam is peaceful or tolerant or anything but an ideology that is out to gobble up anything in its path. We cannot even talk about Islam without always having to say ‘not all muslims are violent’. They support it when they are silent or they give out disinformation about it. In our country, it isn’t even an excuse anymore for them to say they are ignorant about where their zakat is going. That information is readily available to them. It has been talked about when their charities were shut down. The only ones I would give a pass to are the ones who are newly immigrated over here. And I wonder why we haven’t stopped Muslim immigration. Instead we let in what we don’t understand and refuse to most of the time. The ones who are new converts I would not give a pass to since they have a chance to do research into Islam.
I like how you single out the Catholic Church. The way I see it, all the other religions are out to destroy us.
In Example:
The exploitation of a few catholic priests to try and discredit the Church as a whole
The almost un-known massacre of Catholics in vietnam that has not been publicized in any major news (to my knowledge)
The suing of a Catholic College after they banned contraception (it was private by the way)
The general distrust of Catholics (as shown above)
I don’t know what we did, but apparently Catholics (who don’t fly planes into things, just for the record) have gotten on the bad side of more than the media.
It is only because I am on a Catholic website. You are right there are many others that give out disinformation and appease Islam. I won’t even go into the left because they are in lockstep with Islam and appease it at every turn. Even the women libbers don’t do anything about the situation of women in Islam. And look at Obama’s old Church! And that is a supposedly Christian Church.I like how you single out the Catholic Church. The way I see it, all the other religions are out to destroy us.

Can’t speak for the Jews, but Catholics do have one lonely voice in the wilderness. catholicleague.org…
Catholics let some things happen though. There is no outrage from Catholics as a group, no Catholics or Christians demanding apologies to stop the anti-Christian bias in the schools. There isn’t even a concern by the antisemitism by the Jews or a united front to demand that it stop in the schools. …
This reminded me of an earlier post:…
On the original question id have to say its because the Quran has exhortations to violence which lead many muslims to act in violent ways towards other religious groups. And also because the cultural heritage of islam, which was synontmous with conquest, perpetuated the violent nature of the religion in regards to other religions. History backs this up.
… there is no apt comparison to be made between the spread of Christianity and the spread of Islam, because in Christianity’s case, the spread became violent and oppressive once Christianity had become associated with the power of empire. In the case of Islam, apparently empire was the whole point to begin with, so there was not a time outside of the early period of Muhammad’s preaching (when he was rebuked by basically everyone) when Islam could be said to be without the corrosive power of empire behind it. …
It is amazing that Obama refuses to talk about having a Pastor or choosing a church. It seems that such a choice is less important that his choice of tailor.I got an interesting email in my inbox today:
