The answer is quite obvious .

It’s the same reason why some people were against Vatican 1 , and why some people were against all 21 of the Church’s Ecumenical Councils .

Some people don’t like submitting to authority .

While I agree that this is true,

Yes , it is true .

It has been true since Adam and Eve ate that forbidden fruit .

Disobedience is disobedience .

Sin is sin .

Call it by any other name , it is still submission to the author and prince of sin .
