Why do they have clairvoyance (a kind of Extrasensory perception)?

There was a $1mil reward offered for proof of psychic abilities from 1964 to 2015. It was offered by the James Randi Educational Foundation. No one claimed it. No one was able to verifiably exhibit clairvoyance or other supernatural ability.

In 51 years, nobody was able to show that they had psychic abilities. Considering the massive number of so called psychics with far sight, precognition, etc., none of them were able to display any sort of actual ability.

In short, it would seem that people do not have innate precognitive / psychic abilities.

God could certainly grant someone foreknowledge of events. My grandpa had a couple instances where he knew things were happening before he possibly could have, but it wasn’t his ability, something he could wield as a tool. These were just gifts from God, allowing him to prepare.

Hi anhphan
Your question is unsubstanciated. Perhaps it is a contrivance of movie or books, in which anything can be postulated and supported without any basis in fact.

There are times when God grants inspiration, but extra-sensory perception is a term allegedly coined by the British explorer Sir Richard Burton in 1870

“The scientific consensus does not view extrasensory perception as a real phenomenon.[21][22][23][24][25][26][27] Skeptics have pointed out that there is no viable theory to explain the mechanism behind ESP, and that there are historical cases in which flaws have been discovered in the experimental design of parapsychological studies.[28]” Extrasensory perception - Wikipedia

In my country, there are many people who can help people losing their relatives’ graves find the skeleton by their supernatural abilities.

These folks are preying on the grief of people, they are scam artists out to make a buck. There is no such supernatural ability. Pray that these people turn from their deception and toward God.

I know some of them are treating people. But few of them really have the special abilities.

How would the living know that this person found the right buried person or not if they are underground?

Have there been double blind scientific studies? If not, these occurrences are coincidence, fraud or demonic.

OP, so are you saying that these people find relatives that are buried somewhere (but the family knows not where they are buried) and then the family digs them up and has their DNA tested? 😳

That really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me…

Going back sixty years or so to the early days of the Cold War, both the United States and the Soviet Union spent a lot of time and money researching extrasensory perception, telepathy, and so on, for defense purposes—for instance, both navies wanted to be able to use these techniques to track the movements of enemy submarines. These defense budgets were continued, I believe, at least into the sixties. Needless to say, nothing ever came of it.

The authorities of my country have recognized them. And they estabished the social research on psychic.

Yeah, I’m Vietnamese. My spiritual concept and yours may be different.

I rarely believe in it. I just believe in God

This is the first you’ve mentioned of spiritual concepts. Up till now you’ve been talking about what people can do in the real physical world—locating unidentfied bodies, and so on. Has the government of Vietnam published any findings that support claims of that kind?
