Why are there some people who can see the skeleton or grave under the ground?

Divination and certain forms of spiritism in the more modern common context is forbidden. Having spiritual gifts including what you’ve mentioned is not.
 
I have been an amateur magician for over thirty years, member of the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and a former Associate of the Magic Circle in London. I have studied mentalism and all forms of so-called ESP: it is merely trickery. A good reader can give a performance that will make his/her subject believe that their inner thoughts have been revealed, with information about a person’s past, present and, supposedly, future. Magicians have debunked mediums, seers and mind readers for ages. Houdini unmasked all the best mediums of his time. Before he died, he left a letter that said: if, after my death, a medium says that I am speaking from the beyond through him/her, if it is, indeed me talking, I will say the following words. Unless the medium says these words, he/she will be lying. Needless to say, no medium ever uttered those words (although his widow once tried to scam the public, but was found out…).
 
Yeah most of the time I would agree with you.

However I believe there is authentic witchcraft and occult things but it is to be avoided.

I was more talking along the lines of things like St Lucia or mystics that can see these things as a gift of God rather than being a charlatan.

He is not a God of the dead but of the living.

Yes, I think it would be a gift from God. Some people just use their ability, not any spiritual rites
 
Yeah I still believe it can happen. Very often though it is undocumented or kept secret for a while. In other cultures this is still misunderstood by the West but not all our qualms about some of that is without reason.
 
Whether those are genuine ability given by God, or tricks form the Devil, I will stay neutral on it.

However, even John Bosco, Lucia, Padre Pio and all legitimate seers say one thing: OBEY YOUR PRIEST. Even all Marian Apparation. Talk to him. He’s the one person that will discern it.

A fun little story: St Catherine of Sienna can actually, for one time, outright tell what someone’s sin is. Then she actually saw Christ, and rebuke her – those visions are from teh devil.

That is what being Catholic. Submit – aka Obedience – and turn toward God and his representatives on Earth. If the priest tell you to stop all these research, you will do it. Other Christians may say it’s okay, but not as a Catholic.

TheHolyTrinity seems to be a Vietnamese poster, and had post it in your language. Why you refuse to respond to him make us wonder why you want to defend it. Remember Galatians 3:28:

What that also means is that you will put your Catholic life ahead of your culture.

People are limited by their senses. Sometimes, people have certain graces that allow them to operate beyond the limits imposed by human senses. Some people are frauds. Other people are genuine. It’s beyond my power to tell the difference, so I don’t worry too much one way or the other. If someone has the ability, that’s nice. If someone is lying or scamming, that’s between them and God. 🙂

I know a (Catholic) person who hated going to funerals, because when she looked in the coffin, she’d never see the person who was dead. She’d see the next person who was going to die. It wasn’t a gift she particularly wanted-- she found it very disturbing and upsetting. But it was the gift God gave her.
 
CCC 2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.
