I am Catholic, and I want to talk to other Catholics.
I am also here to learn humility. It’s going to take a while.

You do not annoy me. You are very knowledgeable in church history, and I have learned much from your posts.I was tempted to pick “Other” and say: “I like to annoy Catholics.” Which is sort of true–I’m very argumentative by disposition!

I understand your point on the man-made rules. I was Baptist for many years, and I have seen many protestant preachers make up their own theology. Some of it was quite a reach. Seems they try to interpret the bible to fit as a prophecy of what was happening in the world. The problem with that is everyone could interpret it differently.I come here because I was a Catholic for 38 years, and left 10 years ago when I was born again. The more time I spend here, the more I realize that leaving the Catholic Church was the right decision. Too many man-made rules…and not enough of Jesus…
You have a wonderful sense of humor! Thanks for the laugh.I chose two:
I am considering joining the Catholic Church (don’t get excited–I have been doing so for twelve years)
