Why are you persuaded that Catholicism is the true Christian faith?

Actually I am going to a Southern Baptist seminary. I originally grew up Catholic but left the faith in my teenage years. I am researching Catholicism at the moment to see if I made a mistake by leaving the Church. I know that Jesus is the truth and He will not allow those who genuinely seek Him to miss the truth. Therefore, I will search diligently for the truth.
 
May God guide your steps & lead you to the Spring of Living Water that you drink fully from it.
 
In its simplest form, Peter and the Apostles built the Catholic Church. Its a historical fact. Without the Catholic Church you wouldn’t even have a Bible today also, as keepers of the canon of scripture.

It was like a giant concert and a long homily. Sure. It was fine but it,seemed like something anybody could do if their living room was big enough.
 
I don’t know what you mean by specific but I was raised in a conservative Catholic church. My parents were nominal but we did go to mass every Sunday. I went through all the sacraments and got confirmed at 17. I left the faith after hearing the Gospel in a Baptist Church and now I’m seeing whether or not it was a mistake to abandon the faith I grew up in.

Joseph Smyth , invented the baptist religion…NOT Jesus. Smyth was just one of many dividers at the time, that came from the Protestant revolt.

I previously gave you 2 links showing the history going back to Jesus, that His Church is the one Church according to the whole, the kataholos ekklesia (Acts 9:31), the Catholic Church
