Why are you still on CAF when everyone else has gone to bed?

My vampire battery conked out on me this evening and now I’m feeling tired. It’s only 11 here. Yesterday I was doing so much better, lasting easily until 2 AM. 😦 argggghhhhh

2am is late .I’m winding back from midnight each night now.
Sometimes if I have a really good book I’ll read till the rooster starts crowing in the morning!

I’ve told Marbles to guard the cemetery tonight until I wake up. He’s very diligent in the making the rounds on the hour. Slim on the other hand gets distracted easily and often takes naps as he pleases. Says his pay is commensurate to his performance. Some skeletons are such flakes.

Seriously??

(Please see the beginning of the thread, Greenfields.)

I’m thinking of getting a roo to help me with housekeeping and security around the graveyard on weekends, but they are hard to come by in the United States and most of them expect far higher wages than I’m willing to agree to. But we’ll see.

Plus their arms (?) are very small. An Orangutang would be the very thing for you.
You could perch on his shoulder to give directions.

I generally don’t get on well with primates. Roos are highly proficient in many things. Most of the time they just use their tails for skilled manual chores as well as more physical jobs. Figured you would know that, Greenie.

I used to tell my little kids after they’d eaten tasty sausages it would help them hop around 🙂

Very true. But see what I mean about slim??

His chief hobby.
(Should have gotten rid of that couch long ago.)

He always laughs. Especially when something is not funny. (Actually, he is snoring in the pic, it can be hard to tell, I know.)

(ok, time for sleeping…go pet Marbles, he might even purrrr and sit on your lap for a time.)

Be careful not to startle him, though. Marbles is a decorated war veteran, and that’s part of why I keep him with me. I’ve never seen a fiercer feline. You should see him against a Bangled Tiger or Griffin. It takes a great horde of Goblins to match him. Still, the outcome is not clear.

We once had a cat called BooBoo (actually Lewis) who was the bravest of all, apart from surviving snakebite,
he absolutely loved raw broccoli and snarled and growled over it when the other cats took a look at what he was eating…

OK, I think I must retire for the evening. I apologize if any of you were expecting me to stay up all night keeping CAF data hubs running smoothly. Too much bread and jam has made me sleepy.

Please, whatever you do, refrain from posting on this thread until morning. Failure to do so may result in suspension by forum insurgents.
