“Marriage equality” is a misnomer. Two homosexuals cannot have what two heterosexuals have, it is biologically impossible.
Why do we have to defend what the definition of marriage is anyway? It’s like defending the definition of the word 'is", as in, "It depends what the definition of is is. " - President Bill Clinton

What’s intriguing about this to me is one of the things you mentioned: Polygamy.

One thing that is evident throughout the course of human history, across all cultures and religions, is homosexuality is frowned upon, often severely. However, polygamy has, an still is, in some cultures accepted, as well as certain variants (polyandry, etc.). Single male to single male? Never.

It’s odd that the homosexual “marriage” would be the first to be accepted. When that is accepted, there is no reason for polygamy to not be accepted.

Why is there any need to address freedom to marry for the LGB?

Men are free to marry women.
Women are free to marry men.

LGB can never marry each other for it is not and never will be marriage.

Um, in what way exactly? In all charity, if SSA was normal we would cease to exist on this planet. The species would die out.

Just curious, why do you post on a Catholic website knowing that you are going to get major pushback?

Nothing wrong with a bit of pushback. I am sure that there are a lot of homosexual catholics out there.

Why would we cease to exist?? Homosexuality has self-evidently survived.

As SSA becomes more glamorous and traditional marriage forced into the back seat, the population of the planet will fall. Last I knew, people with SSA cannot reproduce without a third party involved. And most SSA people I know or have read about are disinterested in having kids and more interested in changing-partners-like-underwear scene. The picture of the happy little homemaker SSA couple is a myth. Even people with SSA are the first to admit it.

They don’t? Then, pray tell, how do they have kids? Because they certainly do not have kids in the same numbers as traditional families do.

We have equal marriage now. Male and female can marry each other. That is equality.

Further, by the articles I have posted, they’re not interested in stable, long-lasting relationships with one person. They’re too interested pursing multiple sexual conquests.

They can restrict Billl, Sue, and Ted from joining together in a “marriage” and the tax and other benefits these three receive as a result of attempting to claim that they are all three “married” to each other.

I’m not even sure what “equal marriage” means. We do have “equal marriage” - any single man can marry any single woman. That’s pretty equal as far as I see it.

If homosexuality is natural how come there are no homosexuals in North Korea, Iran, in most of the Islamic countries, how come there are no homosexuals in the tribes that live in the middle of the amazon or in the middle of African jungles, how come it is very rare in Asia, and in remote areas of Africa or Latin America? If it would be natural then it should be equally proportional in all cultures and it is not. Homosexuality has always been very common in certain cultures and rare and inexistant in other cultural. That makes it totally cultural and not natural.
