Why hasn’t anyone commented on my post that was written further down about the Jewish couple who deceived many?
My guess would be that it’s because it is meaningless, with respect to the historicity of the Holocaust. Hilberg didn’t base 3 vols of work on a tale told by two people. Why hasn’t anyone commented on my post that was written further down about the Jewish couple who deceived many?
You are missing the point…My guess would be that it’s because it is meaningless, with respect to the historicity of the Holocaust. Hilberg didn’t base 3 vols of work on a tale told by two people.

I’m still trying to figure about what you are talking about re: opinion. You mean, whether it happened, how many… what? Why hasn’t anyone commented on my post that was written further down about the Jewish couple who deceived many?
It matters to me when people are talking about the bishop who claims that the numbers are quite smaller than thought. That’s all. He has a right to his opinion, he must have evidence of this, but it is not my opinion. God forbid anyone speak out about the Holocaust. Why is it important to you to know how many Jews were killed in World War II?
Are you familiar with the logical fallacy called Argument of the Beard? That occurs when someone starts arguing about how many hairs it takes to make a beard. When people agree that it takes, say, 1,000, this person argues, What if you have only 999, that isnt a beard? and goes on and on until someone slaps him upside the head and changes the subject.
The point is not how many dead Jews it takes to make a Holocaust. The point is, why does it matter to you?
No. I don’t care to argue with you.Make the point.
GKC
I can understand that.No. I don’t care to argue with you.
Clearly, your question is based on a false assumption. People can (and some do) have different opinions about the Holocaust. Why Can’t Anyone Have A Different Opinion About The Holocaust?
People who say ridiculous things (I think some mentioned the example of Protestants who say that the Pope is the anti-Christ; another example is Catholics who say that all non-Catholics are going to hell) are often ridiculed by others. I’m not sure I see anything strange about that.If someone else wants to think and believe that the number was different, he has every right to do so without being ridiculed about it.
There were only about 8-10 million jews living in areas that were under Nazi occupation. If I say that I think the number of Jews killed was around 3 million, it is one thing. If I reduce the MAGNITUDE, it is another. Some of the people claim that only 60,000 were killed. That is two orders of magnitude off. It is a completely different story.
Not all of the Jews killed were from Germany. Polish Jews were hit especially hard.
Why are other groups ignored? Because 6 million out of a population of 20 million is a big number.
oh yeah? Why? I’d be interested in hearing how and why us Jews are persecuting you with the genocide that was committed against us by Nazi Germany.i
i mean i know why jews demonize anyone who dare question anything about the genocide and try to make it a crime or impossible to do, but that doesn’t make it right…
I applaud your openess, your love of the Jewish people and your thirst for truth. And I am sure that some of your best friends are jewish. Out of curiosity why are you choosing to criticize jews for their reaction to Bishop Williamson when the Pope has demanded that he recant this view?It matters to me when people are talking about the bishop who claims that the numbers are quite smaller than thought. That’s all. He has a right to his opinion, he must have evidence of this, but it is not my opinion. God forbid anyone speak out about the Holocaust.
In the context of his entire views of Jews and Judaism, I’d say yes, God forbid he should speak out about the Holocaust. It matters to me when people are talking about the bishop who claims that the numbers are quite smaller than thought. That’s all. He has a right to his opinion, he must have evidence of this, but it is not my opinion. God forbid anyone speak out about the Holocaust.
Often the reason people have come up with elaborate ways and reasons to deny the holocaust is anti-Semitism…plain and simple. Why shouldn’t nonsense be called nonsense.I would like to know why people cannot have a different opinion about the Holocaust without being condemned for it. Many people don’t even believe there were even that many Jews in Germany at that time. If someone else wants to think and believe that the number was different, he has every right to do so without being ridiculed about it.
What about the Jewish couple who lied about even meeting at the Holocaust? They went on to write this wonderful love story about the Holocaust and it turned out they were never even there! They went on Oprah and lied to her and lied to the media about their story. What about them? What about the millions of Christians who were murdered during the Holocaust? Gypsys?
Although I agree the Jews were in fact targeted victims, others also perished. Why not talk about these victims?
Don’t get me wrong, it was a terrible awful catastrophic event that should of never happened and I feel for the Jews, but people have a right to have a different view about it and not be ridiculed for it.
