Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
How would God do this? There are 7 billion people. Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
It is we that are limited in our ability to hear…he communicates to us every day in nature, those we meet and in silence. Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
All of His creation continuously communicates God to us if we open ourselves to it. Read the lives of the saints (a good day to do that by the way.)Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
Perhaps he does but requires a proper state of receptivity. If you are asking him to communicate on your terms rather than his, that would seem rather presumptuous. Why should your rules of communication apply? Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
God can do anything, right? It wont matter if there are 7 quadrillion people. How would God do this? There are 7 billion people.
I’m not sure what you are asking. That he do this how often? Or once?
Or just to one person, or to everyone, everyday, minute, second, year.
And why should he do this? How would he appear to us? that is in what form?
And why is this necessary as long as he communicates to us in some way?
I’m not sure just what the reason and all the what, when, where, when, how’s.
Maybe you might explain just what you would want or expect.
thanks.
No. Im talking about literally hearing god. just like the prophets. All of His creation continuously communicates God to us if we open ourselves to it. Read the lives of the saints (a good day to do that by the way.)
what did paul and moses have that we did not?Perhaps he does but requires a proper state of receptivity.
Ensuring he exists would negate the purpose of religion, we are called to have faith, not to Know.God can do anything, right? It wont matter if there are 7 quadrillion people.
At least communicating with God directly would ensure us that he exists, and that we will know which religion is the right one.
They were chosen in their times to spread His message. We are called to spread his message, but we already have it’s fullness presented to us through the Bible and the Magisterium of the Church. As such, direct communication isn’t all that necessary.what did paul and moses have that we did not?
He came Incarnate to the world and did so.Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
Keep in mind that even in their times, many did not believe that what they spoke came from God. We have modern day people like this as well. Throughout all of history, people have been chosen to spread the message, deed, and image of God. It didn’t end with Moses or Paul. Look at Padre Pio. Pope John Paul II. All of the saints. Even you and me and everybody else, God communicates to us directly if we just learn how to hear.what did paul and moses have that we did not?
are you saying the prophets, mama mary, and the apostles did not have faith?Ensuring he exists would negate the purpose of religion, we are called to have faith, not to Know.
so why not choose each one of us to receive his message directly? as the old saying goes:They were chosen in their times to spread His message. We are called to spread his message, but we already have it’s fullness presented to us through the Bible and the Magisterium of the Church. As such, direct communication isn’t all that necessary.
he should do it again so that the modern world can hear him.He came Incarnate to the world and did so.
thats why we should hear from god directly, not from some messenger. AND ESPECIALLY NOT FROM A MESSENGER’S MESSENGER’S MESSENGER’S MESSENGER!Keep in mind that even in their times, many did not believe that what they spoke came from God.
For one, they didn’t sit around wondering why they weren’t being directly spoken to. They were sincere men of action and faith. Something about that honesty and commitment meant God could lead them in ways that made a difference. Perhaps God has not seen anything in you (or me :blushingwhat did paul and moses have that we did not?
Still haven’t answered the question. Details are important. Just what would satisfy you that he did speak. I can think of many ways he could speak directly and there would be some who would still doubt.God can do anything, right? It wont matter if there are 7 quadrillion people.
At least communicating with God directly would ensure us that he exists, and that we will know which religion is the right one.
Yep – the story of Gabriel’s visit to Zechariah in Luke chapter 1…!look, is there a bible story wherein god called to someone and that someone said “who’s this again? I DONT BELIEVE IT!”.![]()
He did.Why cant God just communicate with us directly?
It may be because we are supposed to be and in fact are one body or members in one body.are you saying the prophets, mama mary, and the apostles did not have faith?
so why not choose each one of us to receive his message directly? as the old saying goes:
I want to hear from God, NOT FROM YOU.
its just difficult trusting ‘hear-say’.
