So please tell us, farron, exactly how Trump “brings hate upon himself” when he confronts the following:

–Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) saying he wants to “punch Trump in the face.”
–Joe Biden says he wants to “beat up” Trump.
–Jimmy Kimmel jokes about assassinating him…
–…As does Johnny Depp…
—…as does Madonna, who also wants to blow up the white house.
–Rashida Tlaib calls him a “mother- - - - - -”
– Snoop Dogg makes a video about assassinating him.
–Every hollywood award show is just a hate-fest.
–Robert De Niro practically froths at the mouth when saying his name.

We won’t even go into the whole “Kathy Griffin-severed head”-stuff.

And no, BTW, generals really don’t have many options when taking orders from their commander in chief. Anything else and the country becomes a de facto military dictatorship.

(Trump, for the record, is a lot more conservative that, say, Mitt Romney or another not-very-lovable election loser John McCain).

Not certain if you have ever served in the military or not, but military personnel must follow lawful orders. If a president pops off and says go bomb country X out of the blue, no commanders are going to follow that order.

General Kelly, and Mattis were not serving in a military capacity when working as Secretary of Defense and Chief of Staff. Those are executive branch jobs not military. Maybe you weren’t aware of that. Might look it up.

You must have a different definition of conservative than I do. Conservatives don’t get married multiple times, pay porn stars and commit adultery. Conservatives don’t spend excess money running up debt with no plan on paying it back. Conservatives don’t try to live the most lavish life they can possibly afford. Conservatives don’t ignore facts and science and make decisions based on their feelings. I could go on and on but it wouldn’t do any good.

Trump is just like a little angel I suppose.

Actually, Trump literally is an angel, compared to people like Joe Biden; Illhan Omar; Kamala Harris, and whoever else the Dems trot out to oppose him.

I note you’re really, really changing the goal posts: You said Trump brought hate on himself. When confronted with numreous instances of Trump being mocked; threatened with violence, etc., you’re silent as to those examples.

As to how “conservative” Trump is, it’s interesting that you hold up things like “running up debt” (as if Americans locked down by Corona didn’t need the money); or “living a lavish lifestyle” (as if being conservative must equal being broke.) To me, Trump’s appointing conservative judges; appearing at the March for Life (only president ever) compare very favorably to people like John McCain or Mitt Romney.

Trump “kowtows” to Xi?

This statement shows how out of touch with reality you are.

Trump has repeatedly taken on the Chinese in a way neither Bush; Obama; or for that matter Joe Biden ever has. Biden’s ne’er-do-well son Hunter, by contrast, is a multimillionaire because of dad’s deals with China.

He’s certainly taken on Xi way beyond anything, even, say, Pope Francis has ever done.

Voting is irrational on the presidential level at peast, and unlike people assuke, if you vote you have given legitimacy to all outcomes. Also none of these people are good, yet your objective act shows support for their whole platform. It’s just stupid.

The guilt tripping every two years (or rather attempt guilt t tripping, since it inspires no guilt) is hilarious.

You may be dead serious…but could you maybe use spellcheck?

It’s annoying on this 5yo Kindle. I leave what typos come for flavor.

Actually the constitution says differently. One has the right to complain because they pay taxes, not due to whether they vote or not. In fact it’s how the country was started. Taxation without representation, they made a BIG complaint, the revolutionary war.

You may also wonder why and how we have a House of Representatives, it isn’t to represent only those who can vote.

Peace and God Bless

Being that most of the list you posted for folks hating on Trump was from hollywood, I did ignore that, since I pay little attention to what those folks think. You seem to be completely silent on the words that have come out of Trump’s mouth himself. That is ok, I know it is indefensible.

I never said one must be poor to be conservative. Warren Buffet is wealthier than Trump can ever imagine to be, but he lives a conservative lifestyle. Conservatives don’t need to proclaim they have the best, are the best, have the biggest, greatest, or whatever. Narcissism and conservatism don’t go together.

Don’t blame the debt on corona. We were running a trillion dollar deficit each year when we had the “best economy America has ever seen”, or so he says. If the economy was good, or that good, what was the reason for the trillion dollar deficit?

The list of obnoxiousness I posted included comments by Joe Biden; Rashida Tlaib, and Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey.

People see what they want to see. And with all due respect, you can “pay little attention” to Hollywood, but the hate-filled rants its denizens have said, were in fact said whether you choose to ignore them or not.

I said nothing about the “right” to vote. You have the right to vote or not to vote… but if you don’t vote, then you SHOULD NOT complain about the result.
On the contrary. Those who vote should not complain. By voting, you agreed to the corrupt game and you are morally bound to accept the outcome. By refusing to vote you are not agreeing to the game or its outcome. The non voters are on much higher moral grounds for complaining.

The US Bishops specifically address this in FCFC:

36. When all candidates hold a position in favor of an intrinsic evil, the conscientious voter faces a dilemma. The voter may decide to take the extraordinary step of not voting for any candidate or, after careful deliberation, may decide to vote for the candidate deemed less likely to advance such a morally flawed position and more likely to pursue other authentic human goods.
