I don’t reject any part of Genesis. I just think there are issues of interpretation. The account was not composed by 21st century scientists, and was not done in the style typical of our time. That doesn’t mean any of it was lies or fictions: but it does mean we moderns sometimes have trouble understanding it.In my view, if you select what parts of Genesis you want to believe and partially or completely reject others, you open yourself to believing somethings might have been added or are fantastical. No. They give the same account from a different point of view and with different emphasis.A literal interpretation of genesis is just ignorant of not only science but the text itself. I mean the first two chapters tell two different creation accounts

The Big Bang theory was the work of a Jesuit Priest from Belgium…it is as spiritual as scientific…God said, “Let there br light,”…and KABOOM, there was light from the explosion so gigantic that it (the Universe) is expanding to this day!It isn’t very common though, as it has been pushed away in favor of the Big Bang pseudo-scientific ideology.
