maybe it is a Pagen symbol, but yes it is defenitly evil.
I think it was put there deliberately by someone who did it for their own amusement. Similar occultic images have been found in Watchtower artwork.

I think the wolf is an occult symbol, and has no place on a cross. It may have been put there deliberately by someone who is laughing his butt off over it.
I gotta admit, I’m totally stumped, but if it’s a mass-produced article, then no one would have had the necessary time or influence to put it there in a sneaky act. I’m voting for the recycling option.

I have been trying to figure this one out. The cross it self appears to be an old world cross. The figure looks more like a bear than a wolf.

Does the figure come out of the base? If it doesn’t I am thinking that this may just be a case of “recycling” Chinese style. The figure may have been from a mold they were finished using. Since it filled some type of need in the mold for the cross, they used it not realizing that Christians that found it would be disturbed by it.

It probably isn’t this but I believe early on in the process of bringing catholicism to Mexico some of the natives would hide their idols in hollowed sections of a cross or make shrines that were suppose to be for a saint when in reality were their pagan stone idols.

However I wouldn’t worry, theirs a really high percent chance that it’s from China and if that’s the case then it probably is just the support weight that happened to shape into a very disturbing blob.

Sorry for me not responding, family emergency, did you see the pic? anyways, some southamericans think mary is the moon Goddess.

Is there some way to get Fr. Serpa to check this out? LIke post it in the Ask an Apologist thread?

On another thread titled"strange mix of catholic/occult" in this spirituality forum, the poster mentions various occult items that are stuffed into religious objects. A priest said that he has found sacred host on the floor of the church. He said it looks like a type of voodoo.

I’d get rid of the cross, throw it in the trash (don’t bury it). Break the wolf into pieces and throw it into the trash as well. The wolf is a pagan idol, and it could be cursed. Have a priest come to your house and bless it - maybe even do an exorcism - after you get rid of the junk.

i dont think an exorcism is neccesary, no one needs to be possessed.

My 2 cents. I would contact Jesuit John, I believe is the one who ask you to PM him about this. Talk with your priest and maybe contact saint-mike.org/spcd/ -The St. Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling, they seem to be experts at this type of thing.

You need someone who really has knowledge of this type situation. It could be no big deal or it be more serious than you know. Either way I would not wait any longer. The one situation that I have any personal knowledge of turned into a very dangerous one. In fact, most people today would have a hard time even believing what happened.

If I had not known the family extremely well, I would have thought they were making it all up.

Remember, there is no evil God can’t protect you from, we just need the help of those who are well educated in these matters.

Good Luck and May God Bless and Protect you and your family.

Hi, the link was off by one letter; here’s the correct link:

saint-mike.org/spcdc

Rudy you might try posting in the spiritual warfare forum there (see link in my sig line) or on one of the Q&A forums. Perhaps Brother Ignaitus or someone else there will be able to help. I have no idea what that figure is, but I think it’s suspicious that it was deliberately placed there.

To me the figure looks toy-like, like one of those sentimental knick-knacks you might find at giftshop. Look at the rounded features, the belly, the pose. Like it’s meant to be cute. The cross also has a sentimental design (flowers, pastel colors). Honestly, I’m a bit skeptical that it has something to do with the occult. It beats me how it got in there but maybe the people at the factory did some recycling as others have mentioned. Do you know for sure where it was manufactured? You could just remove the little cub figure and have the cross blessed by a priest.

I agree. It looks more like Winnie the Pooh than a Satanic idol or animal god figure.

If it worries you, junk the whole thing. If it doesn’t, keep the cross and don’t worry about it. Either way, it’s not worth being disturbed about. You’re a child of God, and empty images can’t hurt you. Get the problem off your plate and get on with something more fruitful for God.

i need to know what this whole thing is about, i highly doubt it was made in china and since i Got it things around here are starting to escalate in weird things going on, like yesterday, i had to go to the emergency room because my little brother almost passed out. the only person im going to is my church about this, i just posted this for opinions on what this is and why it is here.

Sometimes the manufacturer recycles the resin. I work in retail and we get resin garden statues frequently. Several times when they’ve been broken there’s part of another figure inside. My guess is that is what has happened here.

Rudy, in that case, sprinkle the cross and figurine with holy water, destroy them (a hammer will probably do the job) and bury the remains. If you can’t bury them, then throw them out after smashing the items. Here’s a prayer to say once the items are buried or discarded:
Father in heaven, we ask you to bind and cast away from me (us) and my (our) entire family and all those who have come into contact with these materials any demonic entities that may have been attached to these materials. We plead the blood of Jesus over these materials and take back any ground the Evil One may have snatch from me (us) because of the presence of these materials in my (our) home. Strengthen, O Lord, the hedge of protection around me (each of us) and my (our) family. Bless me (us) and my (our) family, O Lord. Help is to love You more. I (We) also ask that you be with the person who gave me (us) these materials and free them from any bondage. Help them to understand Your ways and bless them. I (We) ask these things with the intercessions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, Blessed St. Michael the Archangel, Sts. Bruno, Basil, Benedict, and Padre Pio, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the Holy and Mighty name of your Son, Jesus Christ, whose name causes hell to tremble. Amen.
If the problem continues after following these steps, then it’d be a good idea to have your house blessed. You can find a house blessing and some other helpful prayers in the spiritual warfare prayer catalog.
