Why did Jesus not leave a better sign in the Eucharist?

Don’t know if someone said this but a priest said the Eucharist seems so ‘ordinary’ because God knows that if it isn’t (eg glowing or something), people may feel the need to hide, that they’re not worthy. God wants to be approachable, and He has in the past. You know, with becoming human and all.

I think that’s an interesting perspective. I know personally I may be a little hesitant to receive the Eucharist if it looked supernatural.

We know because Jesus said it is so, it is a miracle.

I got acquainted with a journalist who came to our country to study the Bible exegesis. Most of the other participants were religious with a few lay (like me) I wondered about the interest of someone who came from a communist country much less a journalist. So I asked her.
