I am not sure that modern society is responsible for leading men to go to prostitutes. I mean, prostitution is not called the “oldest profession” for nothing.Although I don’t think its an excuse, I think another valid point that needs to be addressed is that non-Christians/Catholics view ‘sin’ differently than the faithful. The man in the OP is non-Christian/Catholic & obviously has a different viewpoint than Christian/Catholic men. That’s not to say it is ok for a non-Christian/Catholic man to visit a prostitute, any more than its right for them to murder someone. However, in society as it is today, non-religious men do not see the same problems with sexual ‘sin’ as religious men & women. Society has popularized sex in all its facets - even prostitution - and made it more ‘acceptable’ to those who do not follow a strict moral code like Christians/Catholics. **It is definitely still a lack on their part (the men’s), but it is very ‘reasonable’ to them. **
