I agree, Hamba2han. So cut out all this “…and Muhammad is his messenger” **** and all other references to anything Muhammad taught or did and then you can lecture us on how to pray and what is the right religion.
You first, Hamba. Do Muslims address God as “Our Father?”Muslims worship the Lord that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to.
This is just one of the many reasons why it is easy to accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) since this is what he taught his followers.
Do Christians worship the Lord that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to?
I can’t really think of a nice way to say this…that’s a total crock.Muslims worship the Lord that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to.
So, in other words, Muhammad said it so you believe it? That’s a pretty low standard by which to judge the truth of a claim. It doesn’t take anything to claim something. It takes some evidence to BACK UP a claim. Muhammad had no such evidence. He performed no miracle, so Muslims have to resort to saying that the Qur’an is his miracle, which obviously noone who isn’t already Muslim accepts as a miracle. So this doesn’t really answer the question. The Biblical prophets actually DID things to prove their claims. What did Muhammad do but fight in wars, kill people, enslave societies, and bring all of Arabia under his political rule? How is any of that from God?This is just one of the many reasons why it is easy for Muslims to accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) since this is what he taught his followers.
I’m sure you’ll get a wide variety of responses to this, but from my perspective: No. :nope:Do Christians worship the Lord that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to?
The easiest way to avoid answering a question is to change the subject. This is a logical fallacy known as a non-sequitor, where you change the topic to something that’s semi-related but irrelevant. Unfortunately many Muslims on the internet are fond of using it.That’s weird, why has this thread been hi-jacked by the muslims as usual to talk about something that’s totally out of whack with the question?
It is not the Method of prayers that matters but the nature of the Person being prayed to. If that Person is the God of the Universe as is true in Christian prayers, then the fact that we pray to God counts more than our position or even our ability to make nicely worded prayers for the Bible says that our prayers and merely moaning and groan that the Holy Spirit interprets for us.Just to clarify, there are two types of prayer in Islam.
The first would be the more formal salat i.e. the obligatory and also voluntary prayers which would involve prostration, kneeling and standing.
The second would be the supplication or dua which Muslims do all the time and just about anywhere where the situation would best require one to supplicate and this type of prayer normally does not necessitate either prostration or ablution.

Moslems worship the speaker of the quran, which is not the Lord God. Mohammed did not know who/what first molested and frightened him.Muslims worship the Lord that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to.
Mohammed taught killing and stealing for god allah of the Koran is just,This is just one of the many reasons why it is easy for Muslims to accept the Prophet Muhammad (****) since this is what he taught his followers.
Mohammed was not a prophet of God, and what he says about God is false. Besides being bad liturature, endlessly repetative and self serving prose there is only one truth in it and is said by the true speaker of the Quran:Do Christians worship the Lord that Prophet Muhammad (****) regularly and religiously prostrated to?
The pardox of the Quran is such that it presents itself as true:[Iblis (Satan)] said: “See this one whom You have honoured above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!”
( سورة الإسراء , Al-Isra, Chapter #17, Verse #62)
John 8:43-45
43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!
What tactic?really get tired of these kind of tactics from noncatholics its pure cowardice by the way what religion is the op?
I think they’re referring to the use of the non-sequitor.What tactic?
First of all i am personally tired of your little reference to our God as prophet, second of all its pretty obvious to a true believer( as i am)that your god and MyGOD are not the same. My God is so mighty i have to hit my knees before him.Muslims worship the Lord that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) regularly and religiously prostrated to.
This is just one of the many reasons why it is easy for Muslims to accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) since this is what he taught his followers.

That’s why Jesus wasted no time on people who do not take well to the truth. He knows already that its a total waste of time. Better to spend it teaching the apostles and those who can and will embrace the truth.Out of my feminine mystic, I do not want to put my bottom up in the air to pray for others to see. To prostrate on the floor yes, but in total privacy… in the manner Jesus said…
‘When you pray…go to your room/closet and shut the door, and pray to the Father…’ He also condemned people praying in public with long prayers, certain clothes and tassels for everyone to see.
So here is another example that we believe in the one true Christ, not the gnostic of Muhammed.
Most Orthodox guides on prostration suggest women remember to wear fairly long and modest skirts…Out of my feminine mystic, I do not want to put my bottom up in the air to pray for others to see. To prostrate on the floor yes, but in total privacy… in the manner Jesus said…
In order for Christians to really understand why Muslims accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his teachings, I would suggest that Christians should try praying in the manner that the Lord Himself wants His servants to worship Him i.e. the way how the Biblical Prophets (peace be upon them all) themselves prayed to their Lord.
Genesis 17:3 "And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,"
Genesis 17:17 "Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?"
Exodus 34:8 "And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped."
Numbers 16:20-22 "And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?"
Joshua 5:14 "And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?"
Ezekiel 9:8 "And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?"
2 Chronicles 20:18 "And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD."
Ezekiel 11:13 "And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?"
Matthew 17:6 "And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid."
Matthew 26:39 "And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

I would suggest that they try praying to seek guidance from their Lord in this manner for a spell in the privacy of their homes, preferably in the direction of Jerusalem if they like and I would also suggest that they do this immediately after they have taken their bath.
I feel that the main reason why Christians find it so hard to understand Muslim beliefs is because they are reluctant to prostrate to the Lord and therefore I am confident that after praying in this manner, Christians would then be able to understand, God willing, why Muslims readilly accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as the Messenger of God and why we thank the Lord every single day of our lives that He has sent him to us as a mercy for all of humankind.
“We have sent you (O Muhammad) not, but as a mercy for the Alameen (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).” … [al-Qur’an, surat Al-Anbiya’, (Verse 107)]
ZAKI, Think. If someone tells you that the king has spoken to him to instruct you to do things, but you yourself cannot and will never see the ‘king’ and everything the person claims he says comes from the ‘king’ which you a peasant don’t know if he is telling the truth, then what difference is it from speaking to the ‘virtual’ king (if it exists) and this man???I also suggest that instead of putting the stupidity of muslim posters in the limelight you do that to your fellow christians in this thread. (such as muslims worshipping Muhammed and other lies hurled at the muslim religion.
ZAKI, those are not mere stereotypical points, it explains why muslims will never be able to escape the clutches of islam if they remain blind to its ‘circular’ reasonings.Your dialogue between the kafir and muslim was quite funny but very pointless.
The same could be said about christianity though. jesus has come and said that he is god but there is no proof he is. Jesus says that he is king but the peasant doesnt know if he actually is. you listening to the gospels of luke, matthew, etc is similar to what you used at the start. you are reading it-but you dont see the king do you? so therefore (using ur logic) u r worshipping the gospels because u are believing what they say.
It is a matter of faith. Every religious person has it.
Kafir: Why do you believe in Jesus being god?
christian: Cos that is what the gospels say.
Kafir: Why do you believe in the gospels?
christian: Cos in christianity I am told to heed the word’s of the bible.
Kafir: Oh~ I see. So, if your mother says you are batman and you say she is wonderwoman, then both of you must be superheroes?
christian:…eh….
etc etc etc. i am not bothered to write down a christian version of what you have written and nor am I bothered to write back on your crazy (stereotypical) points on islam as a former muslim myself.
cya later
Perhaps for the solo scriptura crowd, but for those Christians who have done their research it is far more. One who studies patristics and textual evidence, for example, sees there are many reasons to believe in the validity of the Gospels as historical documents. They also do not “worship” the gospels because we identify it as God’s providence working through man, not the literal word of God - the only literal Word of God is Jesus Christ.Your dialogue between the kafir and muslim was quite funny but very pointless.
