Islam is obsolute truth and will not be destroyed. No time soon at least. Not in our day and time for the most part. Not with it growing so rapidly, world wide.
Calling another religion a fungus is so…charitable? (Did I use the right word?).Hi Charlie, you are right.
Just like the fungus you see in your backyard, you cannot never totally be rid of them. Islam is no different.
The media and secular knowledge? Knowledge of what exactly? What can be done however is to expose them to the truth. Only absolute truth and freedom will kill Islam. The media and secular knowledge must be brought to the middle east.
Courts issue pieces of paper. Loyal agents enforce the paper if they agree with it. There is no possible way to go to another country and “over-rule” its courts without there being either:If possible, shariah laws must be removed. If not, there must be a civil court that over-rules the shariah courts and promote religious freedom, to prevent people from being stuck in islam.
So you think that the Muslims are really just being dumb if they react to being killed by non-Muslims by siding with other Muslims???Destroying islam is not going to work by killing muslims, Islam FEEDS on lack of knowledge, anger, perversion & the likes of anarchy.

Can you give a recommended reading list that will shake people’s faith in Islam?

a) an army to do it for you or
b) Lots of popular support.

Interesting. I think the best possible way to convince Muslims that the west is not here to help them is to show them posts like yours. Sentiments like yours are daily helping to put an end to cooperation between Muslim societies and European and American ones.
Good job?
they do. Islam supports conquest by war, and terror.Hi pumpqeen,
People who perform such shames are not rational people. We can never relate to them. They are social misfits and a hopeless cause.
I’m sure other Muslims are embarrassed by them, as are we. But they can easily dismiss the shameful Muslims with the following:
i) Those shameful Muslims do not represent the “true Islam”
The Koran speaks for itself. Islam spread by violence. Muhammad over-saw the execution of PoWs, and applauded the assassination of his political enemies, including one woman who simply wrote songs that made fun of him (from that example to the Danish cartoons, criticism of Islam has been answered with violence)or
ii) Those shameful sheiks do not represent “me”.
or
iii) Look at your history, and you’ll see similar episodes.
The conclusion has been written: “Islam is a religion of peace”. Any Islamic scriptural evidence on the contrary is a “mis-intrepretation”.
Democracy is not the answer to every problem. And forced democracy sounds like a Bushism.Force every Islamic nation to be a democracy with freedom of religion. Let the people have freedom to choose just as God gives them.

Amen brother.I have a lot of criticism for Islam. But why is it that every thread posted on Islam is an attack on the religion, the history, the moral behavior of their prophet and a refusal to acknowledge any of the positive aspects that are put forth by its apologists here. There are pleny of interfatih efforts in the United States that invovle Christians, Jews and Muslims. So that tells me either people have found common ground on which to build dialoug or that all three religions are fooling themselves.
We need to ask ourselves – not ask others – if the goal is to build understanding and acceptance of each other, or to dominate the other.
I’m not a GW cheerleader. What is the solution in your opinion? Perhaps we should pretend that American Islam represents the majority of Islam in the world verses a small percentage. This way we can do nothing.Democracy is not the answer to every problem. And forced democracy sounds like a Bushism.

Do you accept Islam and it’s actions in Islamic countries? If not then how should one build “understanding and acceptance”? Wanting people to be free from dictatorships and torture along with stonings and total opression of women is not domination. People can’t confront the truth if they bury there head in the sand and pretend it’s not there at all.We need to ask ourselves – not ask others – if the goal is to build understanding and acceptance of each other, or to dominate the other.
Sometimes any action will only result in a worse situation. So don’t discount doing nothing. Our current administration has demonstrated that at this point in time, our ability to nation build sucks. And I’m not crazy about the idea of invading indonesia, Syra, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries because we find aspect of their religious beliefs oppressive. Invading Iraq didn’t address the problem of terrorism at all, other than by increasing it. Islam is not a group of 1 billion people randomly embracing violence for no reason. So look at the reasons and then try to address them in the way that promotes our best interests.I’m not a GW cheerleader. What is the solution in your opinion? I agree that we are not good at nation building and again I’m not a GW cheerleader. My issue is with Islam and it’s mass slaughter of people created in the image and likness of God. I also agree that we should not invade 10 Islamic countries next week. I do however believe that the world needs to stand up to Islam and say enough is enough, we don’t care how angry you get. We also need to inform the Islamic world that there evil acts will not be tolerated by civilzation forever.Sometimes any action will only result in a worse situation. So don’t discount doing nothing. The reason they embrace violence is because the entire Earth is not Islamic. When the entire Earth becomes Islamic the violence will stop. Do you think they are joking when they call the United States ‘the great satan’? Islamic people are commonly instructed to hate Jews and America along with any other Christian country. What do you say are the reasons for Islamic violence in general? What course is in our best interest as a country?Islam is not a group of 1 billion people randomly embracing violence for no reason. So look at the reasons and then try to address them in the way that promotes our best interests.
Well said.the vast majority of muslims are good people, but there are bad muslims out there, just like there are bad christians. and saying that islamis a fungus is not going to help matters. how can you sit down with someone and reconcile your differencesif you insult that person?
How does the Qur’an speak on the spread of Islam by violence?they do. Islam supports conquest by war, and terror.
[3.151] We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust.
The Koran speaks for itself. Islam spread by violence. Muhammad over-saw the execution of PoWs, and applauded the assassination of his political enemies, including one woman who simply wrote songs that made fun of him (from that example to the Danish cartoons, criticism of Islam has been answered with violence)

Because Moslems treat Muhammad as their ‘ideal’ type of man.I have a lot of criticism for Islam. But why is it that every thread posted on Islam is an attack on the religion, the history, the moral behaviour of their prophet and a refusal to acknowledge any of the positive aspects that are put forth by its apologists here.
People are, I believe, basically good. Some are good, despite the pressures of their faith. There are plenty of interfaith efforts in the United States that involve Christians, Jews and Muslims. So that tells me either people have found common ground on which to build dialog or that all three religions are fooling themselves.
We need to ask ourselves ‘Is it respectful of our own faiths just to pretend that we don’t disagree?’We need to ask ourselves – not ask others – if the goal is to build understanding and acceptance of each other, or to dominate the other.
Check-outHow does the Qur’an speak on the spread of Islam by violence?
Matthew 11:15Sounds like your words are more evil than anything I ever heard of.
One must condemn evil. I think it’s evil; the example of Muhammad. If one is silent to evil, it will grow. There’s a difference between disagreeing and condemning.
