Iāll start baking you a nice Chocolate cake while you wait my dear friendā¦!!
:tsktsk:Spockās not real? Is he corrupted?
Also, Mohammad is not a spirit. Heās a person. If you actually took the time to examine the verses where Jesus talks about the comforter, you will notice it is not your prophet.
John 14:16 ā And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth.
Mohammad was never with the disciples, he came 500 years later.
Okay, so, if the Paraclete is not the Holy Ghost (as you contend), but rather a human being, how do you know that that human being is Muhammad? Couldnāt it just as easily be Sathya Sai Baba or Thomas Jefferson or Walt Disney? What in the verse points, specifically, to Muhammad? There are to be found a number of verses and passages in the Bible which point to the coming of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
For example, the Fourth Gospel, like every other book of the New Testament, was written in Greek and not in Aramaic, which was the mother-tongue of Jesus (pbuh) and his disciples.
What word or name was it that Jesus (pbuh) used in his native tongue to express that which the Fourth Gospel has translated as āthe Paracleteā and which has been converted into ācomforterā in all the versions of that Gospel?
The āParacleteā does not signify either āconsolerā or āadvocateā or "comforterā; in truth, it is not a classical word at all. The Greek orthography of the word is Paraklytos which in ecclesiastical literature is made to mean āone called to aid, advocate, intercessorā. One need not profess to be a Greek scholar to know that the Greek word for ācomforter or consolerā is not āParaclytosā but āParacalonā.

Here we go again you want a one way conversation ; you tell us that you wish to defend the Quran the Question was ; **WHY **DO MUSLIMS TRY TO FIND MOHAMMED IN THE BIBLE notice the why. so if you canāt answer the question just say so. At least be honest or is that too much to ask?If anyone wishes to learn what else is written in the Bible about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), they can go to this website.
Like I have mentioned in a previous post of mine, I only care to defend the truth of the Qurāan and so if anyone does not agree with what is being suggested in the various articles concerning the Bible, then I do not have an issue with that.
Although the Bible and other ancient scriptures do indeed contain references within them foretelling the coming of the Last Prophet, nevertheless the ultimate proof that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of God will always be the living miracle that he brought to the world i.e. the verbatim Speech of the Lord which is the Holy Qurāan.Okay, so, if the Paraclete is not the Holy Ghost (as you contend), but rather a human being, how do you know that that human being is Muhammad? I do not think you or anyone else here is disagreeing with me on this point since all of the ancient scriptures which I have quoted (with the notable exception of the Qurāan) does indeed contain references within them foretelling the coming of the Last Prophet.⦠Although the Bible and other ancient scriptures do indeed contain references within them foretelling the coming of the Last Prophetā¦
It would be better if you actaully tried to answer us instead of just running away.If anyone wishes to learn what else is written in the Bible about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), they can go to this website.

Actaully I will prove that Muhammad is not in the bible. This is reminder that the question of the thread is:
Why do Muslims try to find Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bible?
And the short answer is⦠because Christians and Jews ask why isnāt he mentioned in the Bible?
Although Muslims cannot prove conclusively that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned in the Bible, by the same token however, Christians and Jews also cannot prove conclusively that he is not mentioned in their scriptures as evident in the various articles concerning the Bible that the website elaborates on.
.
If you read the bible there is no need for another prophet after Jesus. The full truth has been revealed to us in the Bible.Although the Bible and other ancient scriptures do indeed contain references within them foretelling the coming of the Last Prophet, nevertheless the ultimate proof that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of God will always be the living miracle that he brought to the world i.e. the verbatim Speech of the Lord which is the Holy Qurāan.
If anyone else claims to be the Last Prophet, then let him show his proof.
What a lie ; Mohammed tells them in the Quran that the proof of his Prophethood thats why. This is reminder that the question of the thread is:

I myself have not read most of the articles in detail because I really do not need much convincing that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is indeed mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments.
Or in other words, I personally do not have a high level of interest in finding this proof.
Well they are dead WRONG! John 14:15-17 is in reference to the Holy Spirit, not another man prophet.I have watch videos of Muslim trying to show that there prophet is in the Bible ( they usaully use John 14: 15-17). My question to the muslims is why does Muhammad have to in the bible?
Yourāe right. The Qurnāan says:What a lie ; Mohammed tells them in the Quran that the proof of his Prophethood thats why.
Again no answer to a simlpe question.![]()
Weāre talking about the Bible, not the Quran. I know what the Quranās position on Muhammad is, but I know that that is not the position of the Bible. I enjoy having intelligent conversations with Muslims, but you are just trying to proselytize (and youāre doing a pretty bad job of it).Although the Bible and other ancient scriptures do indeed contain references within them foretelling the coming of the Last Prophet, nevertheless the ultimate proof that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of God will always be the living miracle that he brought to the world i.e. the verbatim Speech of the Lord which is the Holy Qurāan.

Well, if it was indeed talking about Muhammad, I think Genesis 3:1 is the answer.Yourāe right. The Qurnāan says:
Those who follow the Apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures) - in the Law and the Gospel. Surah 7.157
