We Muslims have nothing against the Jews, if they accept Jesus and Muhammad as true Messengers Prophets and don’t deny their followers the right to co-exist, we don’t have to hate them, they are our brothers in humanity.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna

Thanks
So, if the Jews do not accept Jesus and Muhammad, then you have the right to hate them, and no longer becoming the brother in humanity? In this case, Muslim still reserve other human being to be called as “Enemy”. How can Muslim be peaceful then? Peaceful within your own Muslim community? or whoever you choose to be fit in your community?

No wonder, to many Muslims in Indonesia who do not even know where Israel is in the world map, hate the Israel so much. Really funny. Islam teaches the follower to hate although they don’t even know those they hate.

Hi

Which Christians did Muhammad kill? Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox or JWs; kindly quote from Quran with the context if you are truthful.

Thanks
Wow, you want me to be truthful but you are not required to be the same! Ironic.

I have not lied to you in any of my posts.

mohammed killed those who were ‘People of the Book’. And you know very well that those were Christians, Jews, and also Zorastrians. Well, the muslims wiped out the Zorastrians in the middle east, and are now working on the Jews and the Christians.

We think it is only the Jews they hate - but they kill Hindus, Buddhists, etc. Do I need to quote the koran for islam’s history?

9:123 O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

4:89 They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them,”

Here is a good one - (9:11) “If they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion.”
Treat converts to Islam well. (Kill those who refuse to convert. See 9:5)

So, basically - either you convert or you die.

9:29 Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Here - fight or accept subjugation. Make sure they ‘feeeeel’ subdued too!

And don’t tell me it is for wartime - there is no mention of wartime in this surah.

And don’t compare this to any tax that any country demands of its citizens in non-muslim countries. We do not hit you to make you feel humiliated when you pay your taxes.

When I see the masses of muslims AROUND THIS GLOBE protest and demand that the ones they tell us are hijacking their ‘religion’ start changing just like they rioted, protested over cartoons - then I will make another opinion of islam. Until then I only see celebrations of things like 9/11, ethnically cleansing Palestinian Christians by bombing Churches, the YMCA, Christian library where Christians were killed - or in Iraq where churches are bombed and Bishops and Priests are killed.

Italian writer Oriana Fallaci, said: **“A moderate Islam does not exist. It does not exist because there is no difference between Good Islam and Bad Islam. There is Islam and that it the end of it. Islam is the Koran, and nothing other than the Koran.“ **(Oriana Fallaci”The Force of Reason” post-script page 305 February 2006)]

Anti-Israel sentiment is distinct from anti-Semitism. Now, is there wide spread anti-Semitism in the Muslim world? Yes. However, it is not the case that any anti-zionist sentiment makes one anti-Semitic. Otherwise, every Hasidic would be a anti-Semitic, and that doesn’t make any sense.
How do you explain the attack on the Jewish cultural center in Pakistan?

I dont hate just coz they Zionist but coz what they are doing and what they want to do.

and remeber not all jews are zinoist
9 out of 10 jews are zionists. And if you describe zionists as a person who believes the state of Israel has the right to exist, than 9 out of 10 is a conservative number.

No. It really is not disctinct. While it is true that you might be able to fill a school gym with people who don’t hate jews but hate Israel, you would have to spend a lifetime scouring the world for them.

Only the Satmar Hasidim oppose zionism. ANd this is a dispute within judaism, which is quite different than a non jew taking an antizionist stance. The Satmar believe their position is necessary to prevent the Holy Land from being subjected to bloodshed. This is quite a different philosophy from what we normally view anti-zionism as – a political tool to hasten the destruction of the state of Israel.

Very few Hasidic Jews deny that the state of Israel has the right to exist. There’s a difference between criticizing a policy of Israel and criticizing it’s very right to exist.
You’re right, in that sense. Now that I think about it, Anti-Zionism is more closely tied to anti-Semitism. At least in America, though, people who oppose any policy of Israel often get branded as anti-Semitic.

I will assume that you misspoke here and that what you meant to say was that as long as Jews don’t have a problem with other people accepting Muhammad and Jesus, that you are not required to hate them.

If this is what you meant, then I have to ask: Since the vast majority of Jews have no issue with people worshipping God through Islam or Christianity, then it seems that muslims should be treating us as brothers – and not the Cain and Able type brothers.

Let’s be candid. Palestinians have suffered at the hands of muslims more then they have suffered under the hands of Israel.
indeed, as Jordan’s king massacred them with bulldozers (if that’s the machine name in English!) more than Jews did in their history with Palestinians.

I could almost understand that the territorial dispute in Israel has led some Arabs to racism, but what about the non Arab Muslims? What is their excuse?
There is no excuse to hate any ordinary Jews ( Zionists & Jews are not the same ). Muslims must respect Jews as people of the holy book 🙂

Muhammad so loved the Jews and Christians that he declared
: Let there be no two religions in Arabia.

sister Amy, which Jews and Christians did Muhammad praise ? the Jews who reject Muhammad? or the Jews who rejected Jesus? or the Jews who call ezra the son of God? or the jews who corrupted God’s words? and which Christians did he praise? the Trinitarians? or the ones who corrupted the Bible? or the ones who rejected Muhammad? Muhammad praised those on his side, not the jews and Christians who will be fuel for hell instead of Muslims for rejecting him.

Hi

I think my emphasis was on “and don’t deny their(Jesus’ and Muhammad’s ) followers the right to co-exist” “they (the Jews) are our brothers in humanity”.

Perhaps in your sentiments you ovelooked it.

I love Jesus and Mary as I love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

What is wrong with Zionists?

Why should Muslims care that Jews want a homeland?

What business is it of Pakistanis or Iranians?

I think the more likely reason is that the Jews are God’s chosen people and that they have a unique relationship to God.

Do you agree?

That’s what I thought so. Your former post did not make too much sense. Perhaps you did not know the subject too well but sounded as if you were. Perhaps you disagreed with some posters but shot yourself in the foot with your response. And Sister Amy was too eager to lapp on your statement without knowing what it was. Funny how discussion can turn out in this forum sometimes. 😦

The history of jihad in mohammed’s time was mostly against caravans who were not equipped to fight, but mohammed probably knew that since he spent so many years on those caravans with his uncle…
Please provide a viable historical source where you got this information. Perhaps a quote in a book or a link to a web site. Try to avoid partisan anit-Muslim web sites as they lack much objectivity.
The guy was one nasty fellow and that is what they call a ‘prophet’.
This sounds like opinion, not historical fact. Again, provide a viable source for your accusations. I promise to weigh the evidence objectively and dispassionately.
mohammed killed not only Jews and hated them, but also Christians and many many others. And when he got tired of killing them he pushed his followers to do it.
Again, a realistic, objective, non-partisan source is needed here.
You can quote the before and after surahs but instead of doing that for us - do it for your own who sort of ‘forget to read what you are showing us’. 🤷
You might want to consider responding dispassionatly without resorting to sarcasm. You’d get your point across better. Just a suggestion.
I wonder if the Taliban read the before and after surahs when they bombed those innocents in Mumbai OR followed mohammed’s example and attacked unarmed civilians to terrorize?!
Remember that the Taliban are Wahhabis, a Saudi-inspired fringe group and do not reflect the beliefs of most of the world’s Muslims. (Ask a non-Arab Muslim how they feel about the Saudis and chances are you’ll get an earfull of complaints against the House of Saud.) I suggest reading Stephen Swartz’ book “The Two Faces of Islam” to get a clear picture of Wahhabism.
And no massive group of muslims ANYWHERE (not in the USA, not in Canada, not in Europe, not in the Middle East, not in Turkey, not in Africa, not in Southeast Asia, Austrialia, etc - NOWHERE) went out on the streets to protest.
When was growing up I don’t recall seeing massive groups of Irish Catholic Americans protesting the activities of the IRA.
Oh, I think there was a document…etc., etc., etc.
You think there was a document? 🤷 You can’t provide a verifiable source or provide a quote? Idle speculation does not prove any points.
And a few muslims who got cornered might have denied they support such a thing, but we have learned what that is - taqiyya
Who is “we?” Christians? All Christians? Cathollic, Protestants and Jews for Jesus? How about Jews for Allah: jews-for-allah.org/

By the way, I’m not speaking for paarsurrey. I’m not even a Muslim… at least not yet.

What is wrong with Zionists?
Zionism is extreem nationalism. Most countries have some kind of extreem nationalists; the KKK for example.
Why should Muslims care that Jews want a homeland?
That’s like asking why Muslims should *not *care about their Muslim Palestinian brothers and sisters who also would like a homeland.
What business is it of Pakistanis or Iranians?
Do Catholics care about what happens to fellow Catholics in Poland or Mexico or the Philippines? Why is the concept of Muslims caring about the welfare of other Muslims so hard for people to comprehend?
I think the more likely reason is that the Jews are God’s chosen people and that they have a unique relationship to God.
That’s a matter of religious interpretation only. Beleive it if you want, but it is unprovable.
Do you agree
No.

I think this forum is practically full of links and references on the subject by R-not. Lots of people simply dismiss them because they are put off by R-not way of presenting the posts but nevertheless the references are there which should be addressed if anyone is interested. Maybe you could just browse for a while.

Maybe Muslims should call them zionists instead of Jews because when they want to curse them on tv, they usually say “Jews” not zionists 🤷

Yeah, I usually type a post, read it, take five minutes, and read it again. This time, I just posted it.
