Careful Tepo, we have to be really careful not to break forum rules ourselves, even if someone is out of line.

You’re absolutely right… 😊

I offer my humblest apologies when I said “And you call yourself Catholic”.

I’ve acted in this way because I have in the past come accross other so-called Catholics who actually turned out to be a non-Catholic / anti-Catholic. That poster (who has since been banned) tried to fool other Catholics into believing things that were not Catholic doctrine. On a subject similar to this one.

I may have accidentally mistook tweetymom for one of these imposters.

Sorry Tweet.

Beautiful verse. It is so true. I also have a saint quote for you: “Leave sadness for those in the world. We who work for Christ should be lighthearted.” ~St. Leonard of Port Maurice[SIGN][/SIGN]

Real nice, Lil. Thanks.

I am answering a previous post. And, yes, Peter does believe the things about Mary that the CC does since he is in heaven and sees her in person quite often.
Care to quote Peter from his writings?

In order to be a Catholic, you must believe in the dogmas whith your whole heart… You must also NOT attempt to convince other Catholics that the dogmas are not true. You know what the dogmas are, yet you openly denounce them, and advise others to do so as well.

And you call yourself Catholic. :o
You are out of line.
I am not representing the Church and you are way out of line.

Please make up your mind. You represent the Church when you teach…and on here you represent your own personal beliefs that contradict the Church’s? Are you calling yourself a hypocrite?

THe proof has been laid out to you. It is clear from history, the ECF’s and the Bible itself. If you are willing to set aside your pre conceived ideas you will see it. Unfortunately, you are not willing to do so. 😦
Its precisely the History that put me off of the RCC. the history that you called me hateful for mentioning. I was thinking about this today at work, 500 years ago some guy thinks its a good idea to tie someone to a stake and burn him alive. thats Ok with you, but 500 years later you call ME hateful for bringing it up! these were real people who suffered unspeakable pain and and death and I am full of Hate for questioning it? And you mock me for believing that the Holy Spirit guides me!.

No and I am not one but thanks for the try.

-I don’t mean to say Mary is similar to me, I wouldn’t lower her to my level, but God chose her from among women and humanity, not out because she was different but by His grace.
Indeed, Dokimas! :tiphat:

She enjoys by grace what He is by nature. Just like all of us can hope for.

Incidentally, I can’t remember if it was in this thread or not that we were talking about whether Joseph and Mary had marital relations. Someone asked poster Jars of Clay: *Are you good enough in God’s eyes to place seed in the field that He Himself seeded? *
And he responded, humbly, and rightly, No.

Similarly, I think Joseph, also, recognized exactly what it is you claimed above: I don’t mean to say Mary is similar to me, I wouldn’t lower her to my level, but God chose her from among women and humanity, not out because she was different but by His grace

If you, and Jars, recognize that you ought not place seed in the field that He Himself seeded, certainly Joseph, a righteous and holy man chosen by God, recognized this as well. He dared not place seed where God Himself had dwelled.

No and I am not one but thanks for the try.
I thought i explaned** I teach what the Church wants taught in the other thread,. I am not representing the Church there. I am not teaching anyone here just expressing my thoughts [which contradict** the Church’s teachings]

Unless we speak different definitions of the word, you are calling yourself a hypocrite.

What say you, MRL, to the fact that [SIGN1]Protestant reformers also burned Catholics at the stakes, [/SIGN1]in order to root out any Catholics who disagreed with the particular doctrines espoused by that local Protestant sect?

They synods took place there; is this supposed to be significant? I’ve gone to conventions in many locales.

Would become the Orthodox Church. So, why did they leave the Church with the keys to the kingdom of heaven? 😉 Could not resist. Happy New Year! 😃
History would show here that you were the one that altered course.:o

Once again I am not here representing the Catholic Church. I speak for mysrlf and Jesus. Thank you once again for the Blessing.
And you do a very good job of it. Progressing in faith in Christ is something very relevant to how St. Paul preached in all of his letters in Scripture and one doesn’t even begin to know this as a real and living love until they let go of everything else.

No you are most certainly not representing the Church on here (which is why I thought you called yourself a hypocrite). But if you have beliefs that do not coincide with the Church, why are you teaching Church Doctrine outside of here, and why are you Catholic? Picking and choosing our Faith is not what Catholic’s believe and practice.

ONce again I am not representing the Catholic Church. I am teaching what the Church teaches, period at the invite of the Priest.

Arrogance is saying that the Church is wrong because the Holy Spirit tells me so.
So then are you saying that the Holy Spirit is arrogant and that the Church is placed above him??

Yes, and in this case, Tweety has let go of most of what her Catholic Faith has taught her to believe. Are you justifying her behavior? What if you were a Catholic by day and a Protestant by night? What would you think?
