Sort of. There was a study a while back that talked about how women were instinctually more attracted to men who were genetically different than they were and not attracted to men who were genetically similar (they measured women’s reactions to sweaty t-shirts so looks weren’t part of the equation). What they also found was that if a woman was on hormonal birth control, it inverted which group she was attracted to.I know this post has gone into a completely different direction but I didn’t see anyone comment on the effect of birth control and how it really effects the hormonal imbalances in women.
It skews how women judge men and can actually result in women picking less desirable men.
They speculated that perhaps if a woman met her husband while she was on birth control, they would have a harder time conceiving since they weren’t optimally compatible in that department. But as I recall, that part was speculation.
