Why do we as Christian's not celebrate our Jewish Ancestry?

You make some good points, Matthew, and in as much as the New Covenant completes, rather than fully sets aside, the Old Covenant, we cannot ignore it. I think we must always celebrate our Jewish ancestry in the faith with that aspect of completion in mind, and not, perhaps, act as if the New Covenant didn’t change anything at all when we consider the Old Covenant.

For instance, I don’t keep kosher, and don’t see a need to.
