Whatevergirl, I tend to agree with your son, although in a different way than you would probably have supposed. I generally want someone who will put up with all my philosophical excursions and actually engage in meaningful discussion of apparently (but not really) meaningless things, while generally still recognising that first things come first. I realise I’m not being very clear, but this is the end of what I can come up with for now.

You are entitled to want what you want, chev. As long as you get down on one knee to propose someday to your lovely bride to be…she will make sacrifices for you. Sacrificing…it’s a beautiful thing.

You’re evil. Seriously, I just want to meet someone with a like character, but that’s a rare thing. Never really met one, though some have got close. Wasn’t really my thing in the end apart from those where it was too early to tell.

The good thing is you are happy being single, it seems. I think like St Paul taught…he was content with riches, and content when he had nothing. We must be content in all things, and God is sufficient for us. You seem to live your life like that, and I can’t help but think, by not fretting about who you should be with, or settling for the wrong woman, you will meet the person God has chosen for you. I do believe God cares about these things. If He cares about ‘what the sparrows are eating…’ He cares about your love life.
