I mean c’mon, even atheist historians can agree that Jesus died on the cross, yet Islam denies this simple fact.

We have Muslim politicians who openly advocated sharia and during the cartoon-crisis Muslim imams went travelling to the Middle East to spread false drawings in order to stir more anger towards Denmark. A few decades ago such action would have been seen as treason and been punishable, but now everything is up-side-down overhere.
And I cound continue.

But who is to blame?
The western societies themselves. They have become rootless, unaware of their Christian heritage and so self-fat and naive that they think everyone in the world is basically like them, peace loving that is. they dont want to fight for their freedom because they are flabberghasted and in denial all at the same time.
My grief is also that when the Muslims come to the west they see much decadence. they want democracy but they dont want the cultures here, and that is why the Europeans are also digging their own graves because they built on nothingness and has no unity to withstand evil with. we cannot fight evil with evil.

The other day I saw the Iranians in my city. I joined them at their demonstration showing solidarity with Iranians these days. Not one of the women present wore scarf. these have run from Islamism and know why they are here. They are muslim, most of them still, but they have made a different and purely spiritual islam… this is the way forward.

It seems like they are rolling up the carpets and hiding in the palaces at Rome. I am sure the lone priest(s) out there are still out there, but there just isn’t any movement to bring the people back to Church. The ones who are active here in the USA are the Protestants. They ARE active.

This current Pope at least speaks out about Islam, and even questions the seriousness of these ‘religous conferences’. But kissing that Quran was just sickening.

Anyway, I feel for you Grace. I don’t know where the rest of the citizens of Europe are. It is like Germany and Hitler all over again, only worse. It is more insidious and you can see even by some people on these threads - our own will dig in and defend Islam even while knowing absolutely NOTHING about it.

Um, in our town of many different Churches (2 large Baptist, 2 large Methodist, 2 medium Nazarene, 2 medium Disciples of Christ, 1 large 1 small Church of Christ, several smallish Assemblies of God, 3 medium Lutherans, 2 large Presbyterian, many small non-denoms, 2 large non-denoms, 1small Mennonite gathering and 2 large Catholic Churches), …we have about 85,000 people, about 1/10th of them are Catholics presently. Our parish alone has approximately 60-80 folks yearly who convert to Catholicism. We advertise in local newspapers about our classes. We do not go door to door as our protestant fellow Christians do. We also have a mosque and a B’hai center,a Kingdom Hall, a LDS church (?) and a bunch of what appear to be confused Unitarians ( no offence meant but you do seem confused).
So just in our parish we help 60-80 people become Catholics most every year. We are trying to do our part believe me.

Back on track:
No one fusses at the Muslims who worship at the mosque here. But then they are a few group.

I agree with you.

As someone wise once said: The person who does not know history is bound to repeat it.

I think its important to understand that the left-wings in Europe have been strong for a long time allowing endless immigration in the name of tolerance (I feel they are always on the wrong side in all major things… during the war they worked with the Germans, in the Cold war they glorified the Soviet… and now they speak of tolerance with Islam and are against Israel…)

If you are interested you can read some very well written stuff in Israeli news papers in the opinion sections. Jerusalem Post and Haaretz. The Israeli society lives on the frontline, directly faced with islam… they report back to Europe and America… the further away, the more difficult it seems to be to grasp.
And look, I am not against the Palestinians… I think I have said that before. To me they are victims, first and foremost by their own leaders.

Dogs are “haram” in the house. They may have them (dogs) but they cannot live in the same house as them. They can keep them as guard dogs/hunting dogs but that is as far as their ruling goes.

Islam is no religion of peace. There is no peace in Islam unless we submit to Allah AND his prophet Mohammed.

This is because the Quran states in multiple places that what is revealed most recently hold more authority than verses that came earlier. Surah 9 is the second last surah. Hinduism doesn’t have any specific doctrine on war or killing. If a person wants to reach enlightenment, they have to live good lives. Killing is generally a bad thing to be involved in. Arjuna was encouraged to kill his enemies by Krishna. Hindu gods are involved in battles and epic adventures, but this is not encouraged by the gods… Hinduism is generally a religion that encourages people to live at peace with everyone (regardless of what you believe) and do your best to accomplish the 4 stages and earn good karma. Yes Hindus have responded to Muslim violence. There has been war between the two groups, but Hindus have never been the primary aggressors (as far as I know).

This is untrue. It is punishable in Islam only. Sure people of other major religions don’t like it when people say bad things about them that are true or untrue, but only Islam actually has a punishment for non-believers around this. Other major religions actually let words be words… Words are just words. …“sticks and stone may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Words mostly only hurt those who are already weak.

A friend of mine said to me a few years ago, “10% of life is what happens to you, 90% is what you do with it.” Another way to think about this idea is in this phrase, “Put someone in hot water and you’ll find out what they are made of.” When things become stressful, do we turn into a toxic mess that isn’t helpful to anyone, or do we slow things down and set the pace and refuse to be manipulated by the feeling of the moment? When someone says something bad about us, how do we respond? Do we forgive and turn the other cheek? or do we punish them for their words? Islam is the only religion that demands a punishment for people of other faiths. Thanks for bringing that up.

But, hey - if you don’t get the answer you are looking from one priest you can go to another one. And that goes the same for an apologist.

Personally, I can’t believe you just wrote what you did. It is the same as the Muslims using all their excuses for Islam’s, and especially Muhammed’s, atrocities.

Ignorance does not. And to not show information just lets people wallow in ignorance.

it is what everyone wants who are just saying ‘love love love’ that they want to continue in their ignorance and then just don’t know how to handle the ideology that is Islam.

In fact, every country that is on that video had no problem with Muslims as neighbors and friends. And they continued down the path of ignorance and when the Muslims gathered their strength and their numbers, they started their violence and other atrocities. And it went on for decades because people just thought it was a fluke, then it became more violent, and then the appeasers thought that by agreeing to all the demands and soothing their wailing and whining that they were the victims - one day, it got out of hand. But, it was too late because the schools were already indoctrinated, the governments were in major appeasement mode, and the Jihadists were already on their doorsteps, knocking.

The best book I can say to see how it happens is ‘Because They Hate’.

Some others are to see what is happening in Europe: Eurasia, While Europe Slept and/or Menace in Europe.

REvenge of the Prophet tells what happened in the Bosnia/Kosovo areas.

It is all the same story only with people of different languages and different areas on our globe.
