I love God because He is my God, because He is my King, because He is my Lord and above all…because…He is my Father!

You’re not my enemy… You’re a brother in Christ… You are a beloved child of God.

That you seem to believe no one else may be loved by God unless they know Him as you do is NOT the truth.

What truth have you told, other than to dodge questions from others… to change subjects when you are uncomfortable with the replies?

As Catholics we believe the Church holds the fullness of the truth. You would rather us believe that underdog holds the fullness of the truth, and abandon Christ for limited relationship with Him.

As is typical, it is the non-Catholic that is the first to bring up Mary. ANd the Scriptures name the Church as the pillar of all truth

Mary is the best model we have for loving God and loving our savior in faithful obedience to His word! She is the model of the Church, the bride of Christ:)

The Church is the community of all the saints who are a part of Christ’s body. We love the Church because we love Jesus and one another. As a Catholic, I do not only love God in a personal way, but I am also united to all of those who are a part now on earth and in heaven:) We talk about the Church and Mary because they are great gifts from our loving God, and they are so close to our hearts. You could say that part of the reason we love God is because His love is so ABUNDANT in our lives! He lavishes His great gifts on us… and in the Catholic Church we embrace all that He offers, fully, faithfully, and obediently:)

I have to disagree with you. God’s greatest gift to us is not the church. God’s greatest gift to us is His Son.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Please look at the Scriptures again. God the Father gave us His Son. God did not give us the Church. God the Son purchased the Church through His blood.

John 3:16

God Is Love

God the Father gave us His Son. No one is arguing that.
God the Son gave us the Church, and through Him (His sacrifice, His blood, His death and resurrection) the Church reaches the Father.

The Son is God!

Context is everything. Private interpretations is entirely something else.

1Ti 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Eph 5:22 Let women be subject to their husbands, as to the Lord:
Eph 5:23 Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body.
