Why do you think forced healthcare is immoral?

That is part of the current law where medial facilities are forced to treat people whether they wish to or not.

Here’s what I said:
If the only thing they are working for is health care, why not? Obviously they;re getting their income from another source such as a spouse who is employed. I see this a lot…a lot of women who would LOVE to be able to stay home with their children but can’t because they are working for health care. I would love to be able to see them quit.

Without being paid?

Why on earth would a doctor NOT want to treat a sick person? Isn’t that why they got into this profession? :confused:

you fail to notice all he cares about is money. If he dropped a dollar bill in an alligator pit, he’d going to get it without the slightest of hesitations.

If I am paying higher taxes or insurance rates so they can get something subsidized through the government, it is welfare. If a woman wants to stay home with the kids, that is great. But it is up to her and her husband to figure out how to pay for it, not force others to pay for it.

Everyone gets a free education already. and there are plenty of families with good health coverage willing to adopt.

When people live with deadbeat parrents they are learning by example to be deadbeats. you have to get them away from the bad influences.

Also, you need to start holding parrents financially responsible for the raising of their children.

Maybe because they have bills to pay and need to see paying patients to pay the bills. Also, they may be tired of individuals freeloading and exploiting the generosity of others. They may also just want to enjoy their lives and not put in the additional unpaid hours.

Why do some have such a hard time asking the welfare class to work and keep the money they earn but have no problem forcing those in the medical field to work for people who will not pay?
 
This issue is really about Truth.

I’m not opposed to forced healthcare if the govt. forces employers to take mandatory healthcare payments out of everyone’s paychecks before they can spend it on luxuries, drugs, entertainment, etc. Spending all of one’s money on drugs and luxuries, then complaining for someone else to pay for one’s healthcare is just good con artistry. It is, in effect, stealing.

People want to pay for things that make them feel good, like entertainment. If the govt. would simply re-direct people’s misguided priorities by taxing something people want to pay for, i.e. entertainment, then this would be an effective use of govt., people are addicted to entertainment, so it’s not like they are going to stop buying it, and healthcare gets funded for those on public assistance. Done. Problem solved.

Don’t forget, you won’t hear complaints from the people who are not paying for healthcare and who are not getting sick. They are the ones who are “saving” $300 per month as they pocket the savings.

So many posters have no sense of reality. Are you a roofer? Why not come over and put a new roof on my house for free? You don’t want my kids to catch pneumonia, do you? Hollywood really has caused people to have delusional fantasies about success.

Money is nothing more that a way of packaging work for exchange. Every day millions of us provide work and over time that work is converted to dollars. Taking those dollars is equivalent to taking those minutes of someones life. Now if they are willing to take hours of work from one person why are they not taking equivalent hours of work from other individuals? In addition to those who waste their converted time on luxuries, there are those who simply do not make the effort to convert their time to dollars. Those people are also wasting their time on luxuries of relaxation.

Because in our country, the poor have equal right to the necessaties…things that will improve their lives and our country. Education is one way we ensure this as a nation and now we are adding access to health care. Both services are not being offered by our country, and both (in my voting, yet humble opinion) good and right.

Yes, we should do away with all of them that are not specifically authorized by the Federal or relevant state Constitution.

So if parents are uneducated or low income, we should rip those families apart? Seriously??? I am shocked and, quite frankly, disgusted with this sentiment. Honestly, I thank GOD that our country does not share your view. There are many parents who are good, loving people who are poor and uneducated.

AGreed. But there needs to be a safety net for when they fall on hard times.

You still haven’t shown me where it says in the bill that doctors won’t get paid. WHy do you assume they won’t be paid?

Again, why won’t they be paid? If anything this will ensure payment…many people under the current system go to the doctor and rack up huge bills and pay $5 a month. That’s what I’ve done in the past because that’s all I could afford. If I had health coverage, believe you me, the doctor would have been paid MUCH faster!

They have every right to get a job or otherwise rightfully earn money and pay for it. They do not have a right to take from others.

By the way, having a new Caddy convertible will improve my life; do you think I have the right to steal on? Obviously not, so the arguement you stated is not valid.
