As God himself operates in our wills, EVERYONE FREELY COOPERATES with His graces.
.
Aquinas said, “ God changes the will without forcing it. But he can change the will from the fact that he himself operates in the will as he does in nature,” De Veritatis 22:9. 31. ST I-II:112:3. 32. Gaudium et Spes 22; "being …
.
CCC 307 God thus enables men to be intelligent and free, causes in order to complete the work of creation, … Though often unconscious collaborators with God’s will.

.
CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Free Will explains;

“God is the author of all causes and effects. God’s omnipotent providence exercises a complete and perfect control over all events that happen, or will happen, in the universe.” – This can be happen only if God Designed, Decreed, Foreordained and He causes every our actions.
.
As God himself operates in our wills and He provides us ALL THE GRACES NECESSARY FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT NO ONE rejects His graces, we don’t even have to know that we are FREELY cooperating with His graces.
.
St. Thomas (C. G., II, xxviii) if God’s purpose were made dependent on the foreseen free act of any creature, God would thereby sacrifice His own freedom, and would submit Himself to His creatures, thus abdicating His essential supremacy–a thing which is, of course, utterly inconceivable.
.
De gratia et libero arbitrio 16, 32: “It is certain that we will when we will; but He brings it about that we will good … . It is certain that we act when we act, but He brings it about that we act , providing most effective powers to the will.
.
CCC 2022; The divine initiative (supernatural intervention of God in the faculties of the soul) in the work of grace precedes, prepares, and elicits the free response of man.

.
Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma by Ludwig Ott;

For every salutary act internal supernatural grace of God (gratia elevans) is absolutely necessary, (De fide dogma).
.
There is a supernatural intervention of God in the faculties of the soul, which precedes the free act of the will, (De fide dogma).
.
Fallen man cannot redeem himself, (De fide dogma). – It is God’s responsibility to save ALL OF US.
.
Without the special help of God the justified cannot persevere to the end in justification, (De fide dogma). – It is God’s responsibility TO KEEP US SAVED by His grace of Final Perseverance, there is no salvation without it.
.
If God himself would not operate in our wills, we could not do even one single good deed in all our life.
.
God bless

I accept the Catholic message by faith, not by logics or ratio.
What I know, I know nothing.
I follow the Church teaching, that is all.
I am just thinking that sometimes the spiritual masterpieces and great heroes of faith and sacrifice comes even as a result of sins in the parents family.
There are many examples when parents, husband and wife fighted between themselves, kids has got psychological traumas, but later when kids grow up they choose monastic life, - full dedication, otherwordliness, super-human spiritual journey.
Materialistic psychologists would describe it as “inherited damage” but God creates masterpieces of faith from this so called “inherited inferiority”.

Because Love

This is a great question and I think it stems straight from the very meaning of life itself. There is so much to say on this topic as it has been the subject of a lot of thought in the theological discourse. So much so that this problem, what we call the problem of evil" has literally been beaten to a pulp from virtually every angle to the point where the problem of evil is no longer a problem at all. To answer your question though its simple, the answer is Love.

The purpose of human existence is to know and love God. Love is not an emotion but an action of the will therefore freedom of the will become indispensable unless you undermine the ultimate purpose of human existence. So it would literally be pointless for us to exist without free will as our purpose becomes impossible. God does not blink at sin His justice is eminent but with freedom of the will necessarily comes the potential for us to be evil. God wants us to become responsible moral agents in a relationship with him not pretty machines that act out the motions and notions of love but are actually incapable of loving. There is a lot more to say on this issue more broadly speaking but this should address your question. Feel free to reply as it is likely that the other aspects of this pondering may set in and I would love to discuss it with you.

He wants us to simply be free -so that we’re free to sin and free to love, which opposes sin. Love is the goal, the definition of righteousness or justice for man, and the attainment of which marks human perfection. If we’re not free to fail and fall, we’re also not free to rise higher yet.

Why are some people so fixated on having others punished for their sins - its none of your business - its between God and the sinner. Seems time would be better spent thinking about something else. Jesus clears told us NOT to judge others. But some people persist.

Like people doing immoral things, etc.
God allows Humans to have Free Will. .

God teaches Morality

When some people rejected Jesus - the problem is theirs … not Jesus

There’s a Profound Reason why God gave Angels and Humans Free Will
