Moses was told to tell that he had been sent by ‘I AM’
That is both a name and no name, there is but one God.
Names are to aid clarify, there is no other God so clarification is unnecessary.

Which God tho?
Philosophically speaking, we don’t know the identity or absolute intentions of God without divine revelation. I can only speak of a “mere theism” as identifying that which gives true purpose, moral value, and existential significance to our lives. I know that if there are only physical events, then meaning, purpose, and existential value, does not exist. And if we experience these things and choose to maintain a materialist point of view, then we are being delusional. A dedicated materialist can only assume these things are illusory. And since most of us naturally desire significance, and moral worth, and purpose, which is evident by our behavior in the world, as materialists we have no choice but to make-believe these things. In other-words, we have to live in a humanistic fantasy.

How do you know that’s the one true God though? Expanding upon @IWantGod’s door metaphor, Pascal’s Wager really doesn’t represent a perfect binary between faith and disbelief: it’s more like you’ve got 10,000 doors to choose from, and selecting the right one is a crapshoot.

Is that good enough for the God you believe in?

The word God is a very small word to describe the indescribable, the unimaginable, the enigma that gives life to all things everywhere. God is both spirit and the physical. One God. One existence. One ultimate reality who is God.

People who toy with paradoxes and such are seekers of complexity, I’m sure God loves them for that too but God is in a single blade of grass and in the laughter of a child.

In our street there are many doors, they are numbered differently to aid the postman but they are all doors.

There is another reason why the idea of having faith gets a bad rep. When we ask someone to listen to why they should have faith themselves it’s a lot like telling Jack it’s time to stop playing with his friends now and wash up for dinner.

We like our intellectual games, they amuse us, occupy our minds and allow us to ignore the ephemeral nature of our existence. Faith asks us to invest in a new bank, how can we be sure it won’t go bust? Invest a little at a time until you see how things are going, ask the manager to keep you informed, watch how others fare with the bank. The interest rates are very high indeed.

It’s a Protestant thing - I think - saved by faith alone - I think is the famous saying -

Then they say, once saved, always saved.
