Why don't Muslims become Christian?

Also Matthew 4:4, 5:18, and 24:35 all talk about God preserving his words.

1Corinthians 6:15-20, 1 Corinthians 10:16, 1 Corinthians 12:4-30, Ephesians 1:19, 23, Ephesians 3:1-7, Ephesians 4:4-16, Ephesians 4:25, Ephesian 5:22-32, Colossians 1:18, Colossians 1:21-29, Colossians 2:16-19, Colossians 3:15, Hebrews 13:3
all these prove that we are members of Christ’s body
as for God preserving his words it is in the NT as well
1 Timothy 6:3-5 "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to the sound to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that doctrine which is according to godliness, He is proud, knowing nothing, but sick about questions and strifes of words; from which arise envies, contentions, blasphemies, evil suspecions, Conflicts of men corrupted in mind, and who are destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness. This is all from the NT of the Bible of which you said was not a part of.

anything in the Bible that anyone other than Christ spoke was fed through his apostle’s mouth. Christ gives the words to speak. As in the days of the apostles, they had witnessed Christ and every word he said.

Matthew 4:4 "Who answered and said.: “It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God”

Matthew 5:18 " For Amen I say unto you, til heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all the be fulfilled"

Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass”
 
Also in the OT Christ’s birth hadn’t come yet. God spoke to the prophets just as in the NT that Jesus spoke to the apostles before and after his death. His death occurs in all 4 Gospels and sends for Saul to be his servant. Saul changes his name to Paul and follows Christ and what is spoken to him.

**tobinatorstark, thanks for your this post and the previous one (showing the verses of the bible). I tell you that I believe, I like and love those wise words of Jesus which you have presented from Mathew.

About the latest post, please tell me where does any of the four gospels tell that Saul will come to the aid of Jesus. Where is it written that Saul will convert?

Jesus never predicted that his arch enemy Saul will convert.

We have read all the good words of Jesus and we do not find that the words of Saul (his real name) are in agreement with the teachings of Jesus.**

I have a job and do not scrounge off the state (which is effectively begging and so is haram by the way) so he knows I cannot be thinking about him and praying all day. I am a good person and do not do evil things. He listens to prayers 24/7 365 days a year not just during the Muslim praying hours. What is the point of parroting off the same scripted prayers 5 times day when they mean nothing? Pray your own prayers. Thank God for your life, the world, family etc - you will be surprised how much happier you will feel. I pray several times a day - doesn’t make me not love God and I know God loves me! Have you seen this pajamasmedia.com/blog/muslims-leaving-islam-in-droves/ - the majority are converting to Catholicism. Perhaps you should investigate it yourselves instead of just hating it because you are programmed to.

Well I disagree with you here, if God didn’t preserve the previous scriptures because they were not suitable for all people or all times, then He should at least have demolished them forever, not letting over 2Billion Christians to be deceived.

Saul didn’t come to the aid of Jesus, but rather was was converted by being knocked off his horse when God spoke to him. No Jesus did not predict that Saul would convert. His account is not in the Gospels. His story of conversion is in the acts of the apostles. During this period Christ sent the Holy spirit in the form of a Dove. This is known as Pentecost. The apostles had doubts about how to convert people to Christianity and to follow Christ. One of God’s first act was the conversion of Saul who would later become Paul. Although he wasn’t one of the twelve Apostles of Christ during Christ’s life he became an Apostle and him and Peter spread the news and built the Church up that Christ had founded. Peter and Paul however did converse and Peter was rebuked by Paul on a couple of occasions. But they were kinda in contact with each in their own ways.

** It is good. You are a good person, working and praying too. The number of Muslims may be shrinking in the world. The Muslims have had a bad time for the last many hundred years. And even now they are not learning any lesson. The Muslim clergy has got many bad beliefs and the punishment to apostates is one of those bad beliefs.

The second bad belief is to take on the world on the strength of weapons (pistols). That is using a Laathi (big stick) when the opposing Christian forces had a rifle. Now the Muslims have got a pistol when the opposing forces have got Thermo Nuclear weapons.

There is no need and no order to fight against any one for the purpose of politics. The Muslims should learn the basics of their religion first and try to be peaceful. They have to get rid of the ignorant teachers.

Have you read The Protocol of the Elders of Zion? I think you should get rid of that in the muslim world. So how do you propose to get rid of the ignorant teachers who are hijacking the name od Islam?

I think muslims like you should spend more time in muslims forums challangeing radical muslims on how they are destroying true Islam. Like what the pope said, we need reasonable dialogue and not violence./quote]

Ali Sina says it is the opposite. He says Islam is the biggest threat to world peace and Muslims are victims of it and I actually agree with him on this.

Saul is not mentioned in the gospels, he appears only in the acts when Jesus already departed.

So how can you call him arch enemy?

I can not see that Paul contradicts Jesus, he rather explain Jesus. Should his teachings had been wrong somehow the apostles would have forbidden him to speak at the council in Jerusalem.

Remember that they were suspicious against Paul and didnt just accept him easily.

Muslims are not all christians because they and others don’t understand the significance of “the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ on Mount Thabor”.
 
People are social being. Does an outcast like to be set aside by a community and called an infidel?

Can this same people handle harassment, insult and labels like pigs. Only perfect LOVE can drive away all these fears. God Bless you eichenb2 for braving your way out from this false faith. Truly God is gracious**.**

I am a muslim also . My faith answers all my questions satisfactorily. Christianiy at best has the risk of elevating a diety to a devine status . Basicly, raising up a man ( how ever great he is or however a noble prophet of God he was ) to be equal to God or God himself incarnate .

This is somthing that to my understanding is even against Judaism and not only islam. Indeed Judaism and Islam see eye to eye on this.

It is an unnecessary risk . You can meet God and say to him that in your attempt to worship him alone and taking care to give whats due to the person who deserves it, you worshipped the Abrahamic version or understanding of God .

If it turns out that God is Jesus, he will surely understand .Because before he came to earth and for thousands of years this was the correct undisputed underrstanding of Abrahamic God. Her is like nothing and nothing is like him.

If it turns the other way around , then you have a really big problem!!

Here is God , who ordered people slain for worshipping the calv ask you why did you take another man to worship with divinity beside him ?!!

You might answer

beacuse he made miracles — well moses made miracles and God himself is the one who gave im the power to do it .

because he was born of a virgin — well adam was born with no parents at all . Eve was created from adams body parts !

beacuse he died and appeared again — well God have arisen people from the dead before , couldnt God have risen Jesus as a man who died ?! ’

beacsue the holy scripture that i have says so ---- well the Old testament doesnt say so at all except when you twist its interpretation ( which you an do wih almost anything) . and in the new testament the ovverwhelming majority of verses that Jesus speaks is talking about a God that jesus consideres his own God ( i.e a separate person) .

because jesus said he is the son of god – well other people in the OT were named the son of God .

As a muslim i believe in The God of abraham

I believe in All the prophets. I respect them all.

I believe that Jesus was a noble prophet and the messiah .

I believe in doing good deeds and in charity¨

I believe that Gods mercy and Grace is the one tha saves me , however i need to show the metal of my faith by obeying Gods commandements and following the deeds with actions.

what am i missing? and why take nnecessary risks ( at best )

The question is not why muslim don’t turn Christians. The Question is hpw Christians are so brave to battle God!!!
