you’re blessed if you don’t receive visits from them. I still get visits from them (they visited the day after Easter, I ran up the stairs to my front door to answer it cause I thought it was my sister and my niece coming over. sigh At least they didn’t force me to accept their 99.9999999999999999999999% of the time, anti catholic pamphlets (they would have left them in the door if I hadn’t answered it.)
I’ve only met 1 Jehovah’s witness at my door, and about 3 handing out stuff on street corners, why do the missionaries always seem to be older men? And why do they always give you Watchtowers from the 1980s? Don’t they have any new ones anymore
that’s just it–the vast majority of active JWs are women doing the work so when you see the old guys they have not done it since the 1980’s–hence the old magazines. They are called publishers unless they are fulltime (monthly or yearly) then they are pioneers. Missionaries only go to other countries. Also new mags are expected to ask for a donation with (even tho technically they are free)–most know you are not going to give them money passing by on the street so they use old ones in ‘street work’.
