Joshua Betancourt co-authored with Norman Geisler the book Is Rome the True Church: A Consideration of the Roman Catholic Claim. The book was written as a response to Frank Beckwith’s reversion to the Church, which, because he was President of ETS, had caused something of a sensation in Evangelical circles. So, if the arguments for the Catholic position are misguided, surely Joshua Betancourt would have seen this, right? Apparently, however, even he did not. He was received into the Catholic Church a little more than a year after Is Rome the True Church was published.
Isn’t this the perfect Journey Home guest? I mean Beckwith has been on twice. But yet, no, he hasn’t been on. What gives?
