Why is it important that Jews recognize Jesus?

No Israel has no king right now. One is saved through yehoshua which is an experience, it just happens to be his name. Only god can save you…
 
For all the disagreements I have with the Catholic Church, it stuns me to see so many people answer this in the negative, that Jews don’t need Jesus.

Do you believe that Christ is the way to God, or not?
He himself said, " I am the way…no man can reach the Father except through me".

Read that again. I am THE way. THE way. Not A way, but THE way.
As stated by another above, Christ IS the Jewish Messiah. I don’t see how you can
think he isn’t and still hold Him to be the Son of God. God didn’t promise 2 saviors,
but 1. For all.

We should all be praying fervently that every man will come to Christ, and that includes
Jews!
 
but does that mean I have to believe that Jesus is God or that only Jesus determines if I “get in?”
 
The only way to know the truth about life is through yehoshua, which is to be born of god, our father in heaven.

Actually jews can believe this that Jesus had said and not be apostate, it is not in conflict with what they already know.
 
The Father will judge us all, but Christ did forwarn that many would hear ‘Depart from Me, I never knew you’, in regards to peoples false claims of faith. I cannot say how God will judge anyone, I can only live my life according to His word to the best of my ability.

If you don’t believe that Christ is the Son of God, second in the Trinity, why do, or would, you (general you) claim the title Catholic, or Christian? I’m not being snarky, I’m honestly curious.

Yehoshua is the son of god, and he realized his own name to mean this event of being reborn. His name yehoshua is his word to mankind, it is that name that calls us to be reborn, to come and go as the wind does.

If you have not done this you do not know him, if you have been sent by god you do know him.

God did answer a question that I had when I was a child by speaking to me, but like the Israelites before the mountain, I learned that hearing god is not the best way to receive an answer.

So when I have questions I ask to see the answer in a vision. However, I haven’t asked many questions. I did ask that I be lead to find the way that his law is written in nature, and I have arrived at that.

Well, I have only asked for a few visions, and I believe that it is a very good thing to do.

I was many years ago on my way to a bussiness appointment and while walking along a sidewalk I received a ‘word of knowledge’.

I had been watching tv evangelists and heard a man describe this kind of experience. He heard a voice tell him not to get on plane that he was about to board. He did not board the plane, and he heard on the television in his hotel room that the plane crashed about a half an hour after take off, everyone was killed.

In my case I heard a feminine voice tell me that a man whose first name was mentioned would kill a man whose name I recognized although had never met. I immediately asked this voice for the full name of the man who intended kill. She responed with his first and last names.

I knew to ask questions because this was advice given by the evangelicals. There was an important question that I did not ask, and that was who is telling these things.

So I was a bit shaken, and I purposed in my heart that I would pray for the life of this man as soon as I could. After my meeting I prayed that the man survive and not be killed. Then I intended to see the future outcome in gods light. In the light I saw and heard the mans daughter say to reporters words that made me confident that he was not killed.

And then a few years later, I saw his daughter on a news program in the same situation saying the same things.

Very interesting. Thank you for sharing that with me. Do you think you have a sort of a gift like George Anderson who claims he speaks to the dead? Does this mean that you believe in Jesus or not? Is Christ given any credit to these visions? Because as you know, everything is from Christ.

In short, it is important for the Jews to recognize Jesus because he is their Messiah and their God.

Now there are many reasons why the Jewish people has not as a whole embraced Jesus and entered in the New Covenant.

The reason that stands out considering most of the post of this thread seems to be the lukewarmness of the Catholics:

Many Catholics are ill-equipped to explain their faith coherently, much less to explain the Jewish roots of Catholic doctrines. Others are intimidated by the task or not even interested in doing so. Others have been influenced by dual-covenant theology or have given in to the demands of political correctness, thinking that it is inappropriate to pray that Jews would come to faith in Jesus or shying away from witnessing their faith to them. How often does one hear prayers for the salvation of Israel during the intercessions of the faithful at Mass? How often do you bring this intention before the Lord in your own private prayers? The Epistle of James reminds us: “you do not have because you do not ask.” (Jam 4:1). The question must be asked how many Catholics are inspired by the apostle’s “great sorrow and unceasing anguish in [his] heart” and willingness to be “accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of [his] brethren,” the Jews. One of the greatest stumbling blocks that has always kept people away from the faith has been that Christians have not loved enough. How much do we care or pray that the veil be lifted from the eyes of the Chosen People that they may recognize their Messiah, not forgetting that this moment will be like “life from the dead” (Rom 11:15) for the entire world?

We are forbidden to disturb the dead.

I believe I know him through his name. Christ is a title for a jewish king we all await his coming.

You are going around the question. Do you believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth? Do you believe in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord? Do you believe He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit? Do you believe He was born of the Virgin Mary? Do you believe He sufered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified died and was buried? Do you believe on the third day, He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures? Do you believe in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church? Do you believe in the forgiveness of sin? The Resurrection? The life of the world to come?

it clearly doesn’t matter to a devoutly-Jewish person that he/she does not recognise Jesus. They seem quite content in that belief. Why would I want to make my myself into a pig-headed Catholic who sees the world in only one way, and try to dissuade them from a path in which they believe utterly?
They’ve had plenty of opportunity to recognise their Messiah, and more than a few have converted. Jews can hardly claim to have been left in the dark about Christian theology these many centuries. To me, they seem quite resolute about Christ not being the messiah. And it’s not just the Jews: most people in the world, in fact, do not recognise Jesus as the son of God. We had better get used to it.
Is the conversion of the Jews still one of the principal goals of the Church? If so, I hadn’t heard about it; it hardly ever rates a mention around these parts.

If Jesus is who He claimed to be the Son of G-d, Messiah and Saviour of all then yes. Not only Jews but all mankind must recognize Him as such.
