This has nothing to do with whether Catholics can become freemasons [though I do not believe your spurious documents], this is all about whether a Catholic can associate with freemasons.
I have many friends whose ideologies are juxtapositioned. I will not abandon them or not associate with them because they are Muslims, Athiests, Freemasons [of varying degrees and chapters], Round Table, agnostic etc. I thank God for the diversity of friends. I respect their beliefs and differences. I recognise that before God, contrary to your gospel , we are all equal.
My dear Thistle, are you sure you are Catholic, only you are using the classic techneques expounded by the SDA Worlds Last Chance.THE CHURCH CLEARLY TEACHES THAT CATHOLICS CANNOT BE FREEMASONS. IF THEY BECOME A FREEMASON THEN THEY HAVE COMMITTED A GRAVE SIN.*
