Set aside for a moment where the Qur’an came from, and let’s look at what it says:
Try to look at this differently than has been done for 1500 years by warring Christians.
The Qur’án teaches the virgin birth of Jesus; it has a complete Surih – the 19th – devoted to Mary. It does not hold with the notion of three Gods (4:169; 5:77) or that Jesus the Messiah is the son of God: “God is only one God! Far be it from His glory that He should have a son!” (Qur’án 4:169).
What is stressed more strongly throughout the entire Qur’an, however, is the majesty of the Unbegotten God, who is the One Supreme Being we need to remember! Disentangle yourselves from the concept of ‘Mother of God’.
**They misbelieve who say, ‘Verily, God is the Messiah the son of Mary;’
Say, ‘Who has any hold on God, if he wished to destroy the Messiah the son of Mary, and his mother, and those who are on earth altogether?’ God’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two; He createth what He will, for God is mighty over all! But the Jews and the Christians say, ‘We are the sons of God and His beloved.’ Say, 'Why then does He punish you for your sins? nay, ye are mortals of those whom He has created! He pardons whom He pleases, and punishes whom He pleases; for God’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and what is between the two, and unto Him the journey is. **(The Qur’an (E.H. On June 24th, 1913, in Egypt, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá was told by some missionaries that Christ was the Son of God, to which He replied that the term ‘Son of God’ was current in the days of Moses and Jesus, and was applied to the whole of Israel; He referred them to Exodus 4:22-23. (Balyuzi, Abdu’l-Baha, p.398)
Exodus4:22 **And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: **4:23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
…as Christ found existence through the Spirit of God, He called Himself the Son of God.

When the Qur’án denies Christ is the Son of God it is not refuting His Words but the false interpretation of them made by the Christians who read into them a relationship of an almost corporeal nature, whereas Almighty God has no parents or offspring. What is meant by Christ, is His spirit’s relation to the Infinite Spirit, and this the Qur’án does not deny. It is in a sense attributable – this kind of Sonship – to all the Prophets.” (Written on behalf of the Guardian to an individual believer, May 19, 1945)
The holiness of Jesus was not that He had one human parent only. Adam had none. It was not because He never married. It was because He possessed a perfect representation of the Will of God in Himself, as no one else could attain on their own efforts. God is not powerless to reveal Himself in another manner, as He promised!
We have to consider that it is the Spirit which returns, not the body of Jesus, and that Spirit of Truth can speak from a Man who has two human parents, and is the Father of 'Abdu’l-Baha, Who, to my mind, is the miracle of the Baha’i dispensation, born in Tihran on the same night that the Báb declared His Mission in Shíraz, 23 May, 1844…
Addressing the Jewish people Bahá’u’lláh has written:
“The Most Great Law is come, and the Ancient Beauty ruleth upon the throne of David.
Thus hath My Pen spoken that which the histories of bygone ages have related.
At this time, however, David crieth aloud and saith:
‘O my loving Lord! Do Thou number me with such as have stood steadfast in Thy Cause,
O Thou through Whom the faces have been illumined, and the footsteps have slipped.’”(The Promised Day is Come, p. 76)
Trembling hath seized all the kindreds of the earth,
and He Who is the Everlasting Father calleth aloud between earth and heaven.

), they started preaching the Gospel again. Is that what this is supposed to mean?
