Why Muslims...why so strict??

Well, there is this chick that I met 2 weeks ago who got the same job I did (cleaning). I was ready to start working, get my money, and BAM leave Germany once and for all. But noooo, a pretty attractive Muslima from Morocco :rolleyes: needs to walk in my life and slow down my momentum.

Lol, there is really nothing going on between us, yet. But its clear that we like each other. Just worried how I am going to approach her.

Oh Lord help me:confused:

Muslim men can marry a Jewish/Christian lady

BUT

A muslim lady cannot marry a Jewish/Christian man…

Isn’t that right?

you posted the question before I explained my frustration;)

Well I can´t say love, I mean come on, its been 2 weeks since I met her. At first I was considering maybe its just my mind playing with me because its been a long time that I was interested in girls. (don´t take that the wrong way) Ever since I moved to Germany, I haven’t been so social but like I said, I was ready to leave this country until…well yeah.

but maybe there are some others sects of Islam that do allow Females to be humans.

I’m going to post my 2 cents worth.

You state this woman is of Moraccan family.

Here is my 2 cents of advice.

Let her be! ~ move on ~

Moraccan fathers and brothers are very, VERY protective of their daughters/sisters.

Ben, there are plenty of fish in the ocean!
 
To give you good advice, we’re going to need to know the details. Is she a 7 out of 10? 9 out of 10? 😉

Benjamin according to mainstream Islam a man who is Muslim can marry a woman who is Christian or Jewish because it will not interfere with him practicing Islam. For example he doesn’t have to drink alcohol or eat pork but a Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man because it is assumed that the man would interfere with her ability to practice her religion because he would want to drink alcohol meaning she would have to purchase or keep alcohol in the house or he may want to eat pork and require that his wife cook it for him both of which are strictly forbidden by Islam so that is why a Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man.
 
How many Muslim girls have you met, Ben? You’ve posted about this before.

According to the Qur’an, the husband is the head of the household and his wife should obey him. Allah does not put the Muslim woman in a position that a non-Muslim becomes her head in her own private life. Allah has spared her to suffer from being under the authority of a non-Muslim husband.
 
Oh boy…yeah, this happens. I’ve heard of some guys converting to Islam for girls, too, though I don’t know how often this happens.

Really, Benjamin, there are plenty of women out there who AREN’T in an unreasonably Christian-phobic religion that you could date and eventually marry. There are an increasing number of Moroccan converts to Christianity, too. Though basically all of them are Protestants, that’s still a heck of a lot better than Islam. Here, read this.
