He says you do because you do. When a question is asked about Islam, you do not answer it, but turn it back onto the questioner, saying “what about ______ in Christianity?” And the thing you are usually decrying is some farcical distortion of Christian belief, or out and out LIE. So spare us your whole “waaaah, the Christians are mean to us Muslims!” protestations. They do nothing but further highlight the fact that you would rather bash Christianity than defend your own faith based on its own tenets (which is all I’ve ever seen anyone of any religion use in refuting it, unlike when you try to discredit Christianity using manipulated verses, ripped from their contexts).wow, amazin you say attack on Christianity when you are horrible to us Muslims
I admittedly do not know much about this issue, but from what Muslims have told me here, you guys will kiss the rock as you move around it. This seems odd to me when Muslims then try to tell me that by venerating the saints represented by statues, we Christians are behaving as polytheists. Silly! Again, everything the Muslims accuse Christians of doing is okay when Muslims themselves do it. Why?the Kabah was built by Abraham if you but study religion. Again, we do NOT worship the black stone. Am sure you can look it up perhaps on Wikipedia or some place if you are really interested in it…but don’t think you are…ya just like to accuse. And Allah knows best at that. You really have a hang up about 'Umar.
wonder what your god Jesus did and said according to the Bible~the New Testament.
“Think NOT that I am come to send PEACE on earth; I. came NOT to send PEACE, but a SWORD.” Matthew 10:34
*"But those my enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring here, and slay them before me. " * Luke 19:27
*“I am come to send FIRE on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Suppose ye that I am come to give PEACE on earth? I tell you, NAY; but rather DIVISION.” * Luke 12: 49&51
All of these verses are taken out of context and manipulated to suit the Islamic claims against Christianity, which are FALSE one and all. They have been addressed in the past by me and others, so I will not go over them again. It is sufficient to say that anyone can take a verse from any book out of context for their own uses, both noble and ignoble. In either case, that act of manipulation itself renders the manipulator (you, in this case) suspect, and unworthy of being taken seriously in their claims. Charity is more than just giving a few dirham to the poor as zakat. It is also an approach to living with your fellow human beings, both on the internet and in the real world.“And, behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his SWORD, and
struck a servant of the high priests, and cut off his ear.” Matthew 26:51
We may all ask you the same…So please don’t talk to us about the All Loving God who you claim to be Jesus. You teach one thing and leave the other out HOW COME? Why not be honest???
They do. We all do. This is the ultimate goal of the individual Christian in this life.no, rather your theologians, priests contradict themselves. If they loved their Creator so much, they should ape him or try to be like him, not the opposite.
What is this all about? Again, your concepts of “worthiness” in Christianity are extremely bizarre to me, as I suspect they would be to all Christians. We know we are not worthy to receive Him (did you never receive the Eucharist in your old church?), for instance. It is through His sacrifice, which is itself a manifestation of His LOVE for us (which we also do not deserve), that we are redeemed in any fashion at all. I don’t know if this answers your question, but Isa Almisry answered it best anyway. A Christian not feeling he is worthy to die in the manner of his Lord is NOT a sign of arrogance, but absolute humility! It is called LOVE…afterall, you think you are not worthy to die like Jesus did because that was just an event not worth repeating?
How is Isa’s (or anyone’s) reply on a messageboard dangerous to anyone anywhere, Muslim or otherwise? Grow up, please.amazing…you are dangerous to even non muslims
Genesis 2:7 says “dust”, not sand. Sand is beneficial anyway, of course, but for things like making windshields, not for wiping yourself with!…your ignorance shows…I suggest you look up on line and see for yourself what sand, the thing that you were created from, does and its benefits.
As “Allah” is the Arabic word for “God” and pre-dates the invention of Islam, I definitely agree with what you have said here, However, as to the Islamic concept of Allah as it is set down in the Quran, I would say that we do not need to worry about “winning” over it. God is victorious always over all, and it is in Him that we place our faith, lives, and eternal souls. You cannot win over what Allah has decreed.
