What? I quoted the definition of lust from the Catechism. It applies directly to sexual attraction. Attraction is not a sin. Lust is a “disordered desire for or inordinate enjoyment of sexual pleasure.” Are you saying that you have a disordered desire for sexual pleasure towards every person you find sexually attractive?
“Sexually attractive” is different from “sexual attraction”, I am sure you are aware of the details of that. There is no need confuse the two.

:rotfl: Yes. One is an adjective and the other is a noun. You are funny!

Yes, I have sexual attraction for my wife and I find her sexually attractive. It isn’t lust. Lust is a sin.

This means that they are not to entertain thoughts or commit the acts. If they still experience the attraction then they are not necessarily violating chastity. What don’t you understand about this?
I was not the one who asked what it means! I was asked what it means, and that is my answer to him. Your question seem to come from nowhere.

The difference is deeper than their being noun and adjective. Anyway, there is no need of explaining. You seem to have closed your mind calling me funny.

Good Luck and God Bless!

God bless you, as well. I hope you will open your mind to what the Church is teaching regarding sexuality. You might want to give Theology of the Body a read.

Posters, thank you for reaching a reasonable conclusion since God does not expect the impossibly unreasonable of us. Finding another person “attractive” in no way necessitates moving on into lustful desires or other sinful actions. Isn’t that ovbious to all?

🤷
