Nunes knows more than you and I, so who’s speculating when he wrote as much in the memo?
Actually he might not, having not read the intelligence.
This memorandum is supported only by the committee republications
There are members of the committee and of the FBI who have strongly denied the truthfulness of that conclusion. There are Republicans who have criticized the memo as well.

It is clear that the memo is contains only partial information selected to drive a partisan meme. It is a shameful abuse of oversight authority.
Nunes got information from Trey Gowdy, who had access to the documents and played an integral part in the drafting of the memo.

The memo intended but failed to show surveillance abuses at the FBI. It’s underhanded effort to protect President Donald Trump and discredit the investigations into Russian election meddling. This was a clumsy hypocritical conservative campaign to end Mueller’s investigation.Again just another example of the republican inmates running the asylum

Nunes got information from Trey Gowdy,
That is well known but is not responsive to the criticism of the memo, including Nunes’s lack of diligence.
It is noteworthy that Gowdy is leaving the Congress.

The fun part is that so many Republicans were profoundly denying this intent as they released the memo.
When they do shift gears and try to use the memo to poison the well, there will be no shortage of documentation of Republicans saying that this has nothing to do with Mueller.

Will the FISA judge go after the FBI agents who lied???
IF someone lied, it may be possible. However, a typical FISA warrant application is 30 -100 pages. This short memo – for which Nunes admits he did not read the underlying intelligence – obviously cannot contain all the pertinent facts from multiple warrant applications.

I believe it’s a symptom of a very serious and growing problem, that being the undermining of the constitution and the erosion of people’s confidence in our political system.

Talk about people who should NOT come near a campaign… D Brazille who gives questions to one candidate in a national debate. D W Shultz who cheated for HRC against B Sanders. DW Shultz who paid IT people millions? and gave them access to computers? What happened to that story? Dems lost, so sweep it under the rug???
The head guy of HRC campaign that said the Catholic Church has to change and become more progressive???
Joe Podesta as campaign manager to Hillary also failed to register with FARA, same as Manafort, but unlike the latter he was not indicted. Same goes for Fusion GPS who acted on behalf of Russia to overturn the Magnitsky act, but failed to register as foreign agents, while silmutaneously working for Hillary, who hired a foreign agent to gain access to Kremlin connected sources.

It was wrong to cherry pick and change it into a smear tool against Mueller’s investigation.
Tim Miller, former aide on Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign, tweeted Tim Miller.

@Timodc
Hahahahaha this is the whole memo? The big deep state scandal to take down Trump was about surveillance of Carter Page who had been an FBI target for years before the dossier?

Do those members of congress who criticize the memo have access to the documents that Trey Gowdy did, and as a result were able to help draft the memo?

And his leaving congress has nothing to do with the memo, i.e., he was promoted.

p.s. Do you want to talk about why McCabe “left”?

Adam Schiff and the others involvedin the minority report certainly do.

Sure.

Do you want ot talk about the purge?

This is the same congressman (Schiff) who was crying wolf prior to the memo’s release that your nation’s security was at risk if such a thing were to happen. Now we are told it is a nothingburger.

This is the same congressman who said the memo was altered but failed to mention that it was the Democrats and the FBI who requested GRAMMATICAL changes to the memo.

This is the same guy who Trey Gowdy claimed would be embarassef by the memo’s release:

As for SPECULATING, which I was told you do not do, if you have any evidence he was ousted for reasons regarding the memo, I would appreciate it. But overall, his having been promoted and standing by the memo, since he helped draft it does not signify he was purged.

And McCabe was FIRED.

You know what the answer to all this is, right:

#RELEASEMOREMEMOSandDOCUMENTS

That should solve the problem about who’s lying.

I think that Adam Schiff was right to oppose the release of this misleading partisan memo.
I regret McCabe’s departure and the politicization of Justice that it represents.
I am glad that Gowdy is out, whatever he does next.
That should solve the problem about who’s lying.
I hope so.
However, there will be limits for security. I don’t expect that we reveal confidential sources or tip off targets of investigation.

McCabe helped politcize the FBI, I am therefore glad he is out.

Karma’s a biatch.

McCabe helped politcize the FBI,
Say who? The administration under investigation? LOL
Are Strzok and Page part of administration? LOL

What of the information gathering from the Inspector General of the DOJ, are you claiming he’s a puppet for the administration? It was what he found or going to find that caused McCabe’s downfall.

How about Wray? Is he implicated too, i.e., was his decision to demote based on bias or something more nefarious?

The memo did show abuse of the FISA court system by FBI partisans to try to stop Trump’s elections. The FBI used a Clinton campaign produced work of fiction to authorize spying on a Presidential candidate. And Mueller’s investigation should be ended, whatever evidence there may be of Russian interference with the election, there’s no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia and in fact, the “Golden Shower” dossier shows it was people associated with the Clinton campaign who more likely colluded with Russian intelligence services to effect the outcome of the election.
