Joe Biden? You mean Mr no balls to say he is Pro-Life via his faith. That Joe Biden? Or the one that took Communion anyway?

Did you not see I wrote the word Catholic in lower case letters with quotes around the word?

What did you think I meant by that?

I would say one out of 44…Grover Cleveland did serve two non-consecutive terms, but you would also include Donald Trump, who is not Catholic.

That is quite true along with the other statement that the Protestants believed JFK would be a Puppet President with the Pope actually calling the shots.

I would be hard pressed to even say Donald Trump is a Christian. His daughter’s conversion to Judaism belies his Christianity. If he was a practicing Christian, ergo, his daughter should have been one as well. By her own conversion, she has denounced Jesus as Messiah. Matter of fact, she has denounced the New Testament as having meaning…

If I remember correctly, Kennedy had to explain to a lot of evangelical leaders that he didn’t intend to be a “Catholic President,” to garner their support. I believe that there was a video clip of him saying it in a CNN Documentary.

Well, the President has to be President of all faiths and those with no faith, and also in USA the leaders are not supposed to impose their religion on people. If it were otherwise, I would not be driving around seeing 275-year-old Catholic churches, as there would not be any except Episcopalians and Puritans here.

While I might be critical of Donald Trump on many things, blaming him for his daughter’s conversion to Judaism is not one of them. There comes a point when parents are not responsible for their children’s decisions. Ivanka Kushner was an adult when she made that decision.

News today: The first openly transgender elected official to state legislature went to all Catholic Schools and graduated from St. Bonaventure College.

True Catholicism and politics are like oil and water. I get disheartened as more Catholics are elected politicians.
