How does you not praying it, Gaurentee you entrance into heaven? It doesnt your just as F’ed as we are.

Praying something or Not praying something means absolutely nothing. Crossing yourself nothing. saying hail Mary, nothing. Saying our father, nothing. What matters is the intent of the heart. Praying does not save, but praying to God and asking the saints to pray for you and using things passed down from tradition and scripture to bring yourself Closer to God, By getting closer to God and seeking his face and following him whole heartedly with out hesitation or paying heed to the cost, will save.

A rosary gets you nothing just like a bible gets you nothing. It is just a string with beads and a crucifix, and a bible is just ink and wood pulp. It is a matter on how it is used and why… I pray the rosary to help me pray for others and to make sure i pray, I suck at doing things Religious habitually. Same with the bible, i read it to know God better.

It is your heart. Do you read and pray to grow closer to God? if so then God is growing closer to you…IF you dont well then God have mercy on you…
Beautifu statement.

You seem to have a limited understanding of faith. I will pray for you that you find truth in His love.
Ronald, suppose you were to die today and stand before God and He were to say to you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What would your answer be? It is God’s heaven and He does not have to let anyone in. Why should he let Ronald in. This same question goes for all of us. 👍

Saving faith is a trust or reliance in a person or thing. Faith that saves is not a work.We do not nor can work for our salvation. If we try then we are saved by works and not by grace through faith in Christ.

He should not let me in based on anything I may tell Him. He will see my what is in my heart and then it is up to Him. I am not concerned about me. I want everyone to know God’s Love as He has shown it to me who did nothing to deserve His Love except that He made me.
I love praying the Rosary because it opens me more to the suffering of mankind and to the Grace of God’s Love here on earth. I am not concerned about heaven for myself. I am concerned about others.

I think we all agree on this so that would end this discussion which has nothing to do with the Rosary.

So, if you are not concerned about heaven for yourself how can you tell others about the love of God when you are not concerned about? You must be certain where you are going before you can point people in the right direction.

WRONG.
And you still haven’t addressed the scriptural proof that you’re wrong from my post #670.

How does YOURS?
There is no guarantee
- only a moral assurance of salvation.
Even Paul was not 100% sure of his salvation:

But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” **(**1 Cor 9:25-27)

"It does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgment on myself;
I am not conscious of anything against me, but I do not thereby stand acquitted; the one who judges me is the Lord." (1 Cor. 4:3-4)
There is no guarentee of heaven? that is interesting because the bible in1 John 5:1-17 that we can know for sre that when we die that we will be with God. Eternal life in the Bible is always with God in heaven or it is not eternal.

Being disqualified is from rewards not salvation. No passage in the bible says that we can lose that which God keeps for us, our salvation. Paul never thought that he would lose his salvation. He said to absent from the body is to at home with the Lord. That does not sound like losing salvation.2 Cor 5:7-10
8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.

You can go look at tall the Posts about this subject, but the bible is clear, Faith and works are both Necessary, If you have faith and no works your still going to hell. If you have works and no faith, your still going to hell.

If Billy Graham did not put his faith in Action, he is in Hell. IF Pope John Paul the II did not bow his heart to the true King he is in Hell. Darn Good thing Billy put his faith in action and Pjp2 bowed his knee to the one true king.

All signs point to God.

Um nooo. Not all signs point to God. Buddhism not to God. Islam, Mormon, 7th day Adven, Jehovah’s Witness, Not to God.
Please look at each one and tell me why you think they do not point to God.
I am getting exhausted with all of this rigidity.😦

Because Jesus said " I am the Way the Truth and the Life, No one comes to the Father but through me!"

Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Nothing Else. Jesus’ blood is the only thing that will save you from your sin. To say something else will, is Blasphemy.

So I suppose that after you get “saved” (one time event) (say that magical sinners prayer or such) then you are free to do what you want? No works required? I could Do murder and such? No reason to grow in Christ?. Done deal…got the ticket…no need to do any more…got the ticket…No need to feed, close, provide shelter, to the least of of us? (works)…I got my ticket…

Salvation is a life long process. It is not easy. I will continue to seek to be more Christ like each and every day. I will continue to try to do his will, each and every day. If I fall short, I will continue to pick my self up, ask for forgiveness, and move forward. I suppose you can do what you want…but I will pray for you anyway …:signofcross:

Wrong, again.
**Scripture tells us that we are am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but we’re also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and and we have the hope that we *will be *saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). **
St. Paul tells us that we are to “work out out our salvation in fear and trembling” (Phil. 2:12), with hope the promises of Jesus (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13).

He also says:
"I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby justified. It is the Lord who judges me" (1 Cor. 4:4).

Your failure is not being able to take the scriptures in context. This is a beginner’s mistake because the scriptures start to seem contradictory when you take one passage here and another there and attempt to create doctrines that just don’t flow with the rest of Scripture. What results from this is the tragedy of doctrines such as Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide and OSAS
When we take the entire Bible in context, it makes sense.

Lastly, as for the Passages you posted (2 cor. 5:7-10) - you forgot the verse 10, which says:

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.
Paul doesn’t say in verse 8 that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” He says that this is his preference.

I have never felt the need, nor did our Saviour command it of us! But don’t get us wrong; us non-catholics do believe that Mary was a very important part of the plan of salvation!👍

“I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.”
John 10, 16

"Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’ Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me you evil doers.’ "
Matthew 7, 21-23

There is no partiality with God. All who sin outside the law will also perish without reference to it, and all who sin under the law will be judged in accordance with it. For it is not those who hear the law who are just in the sight of God; rather those who observe the law will be justified. For when the Gentiles who do not have the law by nature observe the prescriptions of the law, they are a law for themselves even though they do not have the law. They show that the demands of the law are written in their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even defend them on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge people’s hidden works through Christ Jesus.
Romans 2, 11-16

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.”
Matthew 5, 17

Next I saw a large white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them. I saw the dead, the great and the lowly, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life. The dead were judged according to their deeds, by what was written in the scrolls. The sea gave up its dead; then Death and Hades, gave up their dead. All the dead were judged according to their deeds. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the pool of fire.
Revelation 17, 11-13,15

Islam

“It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness to believe in God and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfill the contracts which you have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain and adversity, and throughout all periods of stress. Such are the people of truth, the God fearing.”
Qu’ran 2:177

“Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”
John 18, 37

Buddhism

" By oneself alone is evil done, by oneself alone is evil avoided, by oneself alone is one purified. Purity and impurity depend on oneself. No one can purify another."
Dhammapada v.165

But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and earthenware, and some for noble use, some for ignoble. If anyone purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel of noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.
2 Timothy 2, 19-20

The difference between Christianity and Buddhism is that the Buddha’s ethical teachings are based upon the initial operation of karma - the human mind and its volitional actions - as opposed to the free unmerited gift of divine grace which initially helps us to respond to God’s call and become his adopted children now that we have been initially justified by divine favor through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ. But in both religious faiths human beings are not perceived as inactive and coerced by the necessity of fate. We are free to either accept or reject the inspiration to do good and avoid evil deeds whether we are collaborating with the work of divine grace, which proceeds from the Holy Spirit, or with positive karma, which proceeds from within our divine selves. What differs by definition is the source of inspiration behind our deeds for which we are held morally accountable by virtue of how we will to respond.

He said to me, “These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
Revelation 7, 14

Islam is still feircly opposed to Christianity. They Deny the deity of Christ and Thus Deny Jesus entirely. Christ Said, IF you deny me before men, I shall deny you before my Father.

IF you deny Jesus’ Deity the you deny his work ont he Cross and in the grave and releaseing the souls from Sheol and bring the gift of Eternal Life. Because if you deny that Jesus is God, then you are denying God Himself. And to Deny God is to Damn yourself to hell.

According to the Scriptures, each person will be judged according to their deeds, not their religious systems of belief. Our eternal inheritance ultimately rests on how faithful we as individuals have been to the teachings of Jesus Christ: the law of love and freedom which is written in every person’s heart. Faith in our Lord does not strictly mean an intellectual apprehension and acceptance of his divinity and the merits of his Passion and Death. It also amounts to accepting the word of God as embodied in the life and death and teachings of our Lord. To reject the light that is in us by the grace of God is tantamount to denying Jesus. In spite of the major theological differences between Christianity and Islam in their belief systems, the latter does contain a measure of divine truth which ethically adhered to by the grace of God can justify and sanctify individual Muslims thereby rendering them worthy of the kingdom of heaven. These same individuals may be excused for rejecting the ontological deity of Christ and held inculpable on account of invincible ignorance. Jesus will not judge them as he did the Jewish religious leaders who should have acknowledged him, but refused to out of pride, and sentenced him to death in their self-righteousness, since they were conversant with the law and the prophets.

Now this is the message that we have heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. If we say, “We have fellowship with him,” while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from all sin. If we say, “We are without sin (blasphemy of the Holy Spirit),” we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing. If we say, “We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1, 5-10

The way we may be sure that we know him (our Advocate with the Father Jesus Christ) is to keep his commandments. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him. This is the way we may know that we are in union with him: whoever claims to abide in him ought to live just as he lived. Whoever says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother remains in the light, and there is nothing in him to cause a fall.
1 John 2, 3-6, 9-10

Do not love the world or the things of the world.
* If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him**. For all that is in the world, sensual lust, enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from the Father but is from the world. Yet the world and its enticement are passing away. But whoever does the will of God remains forever.*
1 John 2, 15-17

God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not perfect in love.
1 John 4, 16-18

*“I am the Lady of the Rosary. I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask for pardon for their sins. They must not offend our Lord any more, for he is already too grievously offended by the sins of men.” *
Our Lady of Fatima, 13 October 1917
