I can prove gravity all day. Evolution? No.
The natural sciences are not about utility, at least not at their core. I don’t understand why you keep using the idea of utility as an argument?Evolution is useless in science.
Please do, by showing us something that’s actually evolving into something new.Do I need to walk you through this again?
That’s a philosophical observation that i agree with. Personally the idea of there being laws of behaviour for contingent beings only makes sense when viewed teleologically. But that is not in principle a subject for science and i see no sense in trying to force these ideas where they don’t belong…as in teleological?
Is that the best you can come up with ?Oh well that’s easy, flu viruses evolve into new strains all the time.
Before you say “a virus is still a virus” keep in mind that that is the same as watching a whale evolve from a land animal and saying “an animal is still an animal.” Its a new thing, with new and different genetics. It evolved.
Lol… the bacteria growing feathers was a joke. It’s just an obvious example that satisfies your request for “something new”. There are many other examples but you’ve been shown them before and had everything painstakingly explained to you and yet you still have extreme fundamental misunderstandings about what the theory of evolution even is, and are still asking to see bacteria growing feathers and why evolution doesnt make everything immortal, so at this point the problem is with you, not science.
Exactly what part do you think I don’t understand?you still have extreme fundamental misunderstandings about what the theory of evolution even is,
I was trying so hard not to respond with something similar, but you alleviated me of the desire. ThanksIf I had to guess I’d say everything you’ve said in this thread is a joke.
Oh, you mean because it happens so slow it makes it plausible.Basically all of it. You seem to think it has intentionality, that it causes radical instantaneous change, you don’t seem to understand that it is intergenerational, etc.
