Evolution also makes predictions that are testable, and have been tested, and have been confirmed.

Oh well that’s easy, flu viruses evolve into new strains all the time.

Before you say “a virus is still a virus” keep in mind that that is the same as watching a whale evolve from a land animal and saying “an animal is still an animal.” Its a new thing, with new and different genetics. It evolved.

Although I’m nor sure why I’m expecting to get through to the “why come evolution didn’t decide to make horses immortal” guy.

as in teleological?
That’s a philosophical observation that i agree with. Personally the idea of there being laws of behaviour for contingent beings only makes sense when viewed teleologically. But that is not in principle a subject for science and i see no sense in trying to force these ideas where they don’t belong…

Is that the best you can come up with ? 🤔

It’s just an obvious example that satisfies your request for “something new”. There are many other examples but you’ve been shown them before and had everything painstakingly explained to you and yet you still have extreme fundamental misunderstandings about what the theory of evolution even is, and are still asking to see bacteria growing feathers and why evolution doesnt make everything immortal, so at this point the problem is with you, not science.

Lol… the bacteria growing feathers was a joke.

If I had to guess I’d say everything you’ve said in this thread is a joke.
I was trying so hard not to respond with something similar, but you alleviated me of the desire. Thanks
😄

Basically all of it. You seem to think it has intentionality, that it causes radical instantaneous change, you don’t seem to understand that it is intergenerational, etc.

Oh, you mean because it happens so slow it makes it plausible.
