Why you should think that the Natural-Evolution of species is true

Heaven is an actual place. We will be judged based on what we did in this life. We will know this. Jesus will return and the living will see Him and the dead will be raised. This is fact. Evolution, as described here, is primarily being used to promote a godless reality. After all, isn’t science the source of all knowledge as presented here?

Researchers find no guidance in the theory of evolution. That is why they are developing and refining devices to see how the genome actually works. To see how bacteria actually work.

Evolution has been used to defy ethics, declassify dignity to human beings. Hence, the holocaust, and now abortion. That is what men do with evolution. De-humanizing and de-classifying dignity to a child. This evolution is also used as a lens that gives the way to gender dysphoria, sex abuse, and every wicked thing under the sun. That is why people oppose it. To de-evolve humanity to animal behaviors as Freud produced as a psychologist. And yes, that view of psychology was used in prescribing a prognosis upon the priest’s found having committed the sexual abuse of children.

It’s ethics. You also lend to freezing embryo’s of human beings. That’s exactly why people oppose it. It’s not because of science, but disrupting the dignity owed to every human child on earth.

I’ve seen some decent sized straw men in my time. Just saying…

My local Rabbi tells me differently.
I’m not surprised! Jews place no value on the life and death of Jesus Christ and certainly don’t acknowledge him as the Son of God. I dare say some of them don’t even believe he ever existed.

I need to correct something I wrote in response to a comment you made a few weeks back: You said something to the effect of “There are no practical uses for the theory of evolution”, to which I replied that this is not true, as some defintions of ToE entail no more than the principles of microevolution, which are useful.

But I was wrong: The theory of evolution is comprised of two parts:
  1. All life on earth is connected and related because all life on earth descended from a common ancestor.
  2. All life of earth evolved from a common ancestor by means of a process of natural selection (other biological mechanisms).
There are practical uses for the biological mechanisms in 2 (which are sometimes referred to as “evolution” * or “the principles of evolution”)., but this is not the theory of evolution. which is 1 and 2. In short, there are no practical uses for the theory of evolution.

For this reason, if one googles “practical uses for evolution/principles of evolution”, one will be offered many articles and papers on the subject. But one cannot find any articles or papers that deal with “practical uses for the theory of evolution” - mainly because … no such uses exist.
  • “evolution” can also refer to the theory of evolution.

Memories in heaven? Surely there are.
If someone died a horrible slow death at the hands a pack of sadistic barbarians, will remembering that experience be Heavenly? Would remembering being murdered in a gas chamber or being burnt at the stake (like Joan of Arc) be Heavenly?

Memories are what makes you ‘you’. If you had my memories you’d be me. Who are you in heaven if you have no memories.

I’d have to agree with memories in heaven. Especially when I consider that those memories are apart of my ascending and consenting to love the Lord. Should I have no memories, this life would seem pretty useless. Just my opinion.

You would still have some earthly memories , but they would seem like a tiny speck , compared to the bliss you are experiencing in Heaven.

“In light of heaven, the worst suffering on earth, a life full of the most atrocious tortures on earth, will be seen to be no more serious than one night in an inconvenient hotel.” ― Mother Teresa

I would assume that, being in heaven, one has forgiven one’s persecutors. As we know that is a process, sometimes life long. The fear, well that would be gone, the worst has happened, leading to the best that could. Any hoped for achievements, would not be mourned, since the final object of all our desires has been granted. The possible loss of our loved ones on earth could not be mitigated any more thanin our reunion in love, in heaven. The brokenness of our selves, arising from trespasses on our boundaries, is dispelled as we are again made whole. The issue may be our anger and our hate, what is in our hearts that keeps us from God. It would seem that the roots of these are pride, but being in heaven implies seeing that justice belongs to God, and is done. At that point, if anything, we might ask that they be spared. Tradition tells us that we spend some time in purgatory, to let go these evil remnants, once we have forgiven.

Memories are fragments of who we are, and we do not cease to exist in eternity.

Ah. Selective amnesia. Or do you remember it all? The beatings, the agony, the asaults, the grief…equivalent to no more than just a bad night in a run down motel.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:4

All Mother Teresa is really saying is this from the Bible…

"Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.
John 16

1 Corinthians 15:52

New International Version
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

New Living Translation
It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

English Standard Version
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

Ah yes. The fall. The cause of so much agony.

Let us understand that God is a physician, and that suffering is a medicine for salvation, not a punishment for damnation. St. Augustine
