It reproduces itself, as do all parthenogenic species. That is enough to meet the definition: reproductive separation. It cannot reproduce with its ancestor species and is able to reproduce itself. The exact method it uses to reproduce itself is not important. Aphids, for instance, can reproduce asexually as well as sexually.Well, there goes the claim that your asexual marble crayfish is a new species. It can neither breed with ancestor species or the new species. Or do you wish to change the definition of “species” once again?
