article: Green Bay Catholic Diocese says politics aren’t factor in concern about interfaith groups

greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2010302260004

I posted this on another thread; thought it should have its own.

JOSHUA & ESTHER, 2 groups affiliated with the Gamaliel Foundation are among 10 others operating in WI. Altogether, they funnel hundreds of thousands of $$ to WISDOM (the head org’n), at least some of which must go to Gamaliel.

For another perspective on these “interfaith” groups, here’s a piece by a former member of Gamaliel, who worked closely with the head, (former Jesuit) Greg Galuzzo:
blogcritics.org/politics/article/walking-the-edge-of-immorality/#comments

Although the original piece is from Oct, 2009, there are some comments from Feb. 2010. One lenghty one is by the author. He also referenced the above article from Green Bay.

To those of us who have been trying to get out awareness of the legacy and ideology of Alinsky, this is great news. Finally, the Church is taking action to scrutinize and dissasociate with these groups, some of which (if not all) have ties to pro-abortion and pro-homosexual marriage groups, such as NARAL & Catholics for a Free Choice.

PM me if you want to oppose these groups in your area; I’d like to help if I can.

God bless,
Mimi
