Merciful Lord, we cannot grasp the depth of Your Divine Plan. What to us counts as loss is certainly gain for Your Kingdom. We ask that Your Heavenly blessing come to rest upon the soul of Kira Grimaldi, leading her gently home to bask in the radiant light of Your eternal presence. Look with immense love upon her for her selfless gift of life to this world. May the beauty of her smile be remembered for generations to come, as it reflects the love You have for us. Comfort Francisco in his grief and sorrow as only You can, O lord. May he know of the love Kira had for him each time he holds their precious daughter in his arms. Strengthen him to make sense of these days, in which his emotions are torn in two with both the gift of love and the loss of love. Graciously deepen his faith, which will sustain him through this tragic event and help him to be a loving father to Maya. May family and friends provide the needed support in this time of doubt and murkiness. We ask that You incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Blessed Jesus, Who sits at Your Right Hand. May our prayers be joined together with those of the Angels and Saints to form an endless petition for mercy upon the soul of Kira, and for an outpouring of love and support for Francisco and Maya.
